I wouldn't count on that. There are more girls playing AFL now than ever. The quality will improve dramatically over the next few years. I agree it's pretty crappy now but that will change.

At it's very best it will still barely even reach the standard of the VFA and will never have the ratings attendance numbers to justify the expense....novelty's already worn off for most...playing numbers mean stuff all, it might appeal to little girls with big dreams but  most females over the age of 16 woud rather watch men's footy, especially as they get older footy and that won't change..... :shh

Does women playing footy make you feel insecure about yourself?

Grow a set.

Itll get good.  Granted, it's no where near it now, but nothing is ever great straight away.  These girls just need time and proper training and development programs.

Weird overreaction anyway.  I just believe in giving things time before throwing it out the window because it's not great straight away. 

I think the same about AFLX (mens), it's trash now but who knows what itll be like in 10 years?
