Caddy expected to be back.
Fire away with your changes, if any?
-
I expect cotch to rest. Probably straight swap for caddy.
-
In: caddy
Out: Ross
If cotch is rested then bring in RCD for his debut finally.
-
Outs:
Soldo - the Worst rucking performance I’ve ever seen!
Cotchin - managed
Higgins - played Castagna’s role didn’t pressure enough - 2 pressure acts & 1 tackle isn’t good enough
Ross - rest (not a great game)
Ins:
Callum Coleman-Jones - lets have a good look before Nank comes back.
Josh Caddy
Riley Collier-Dawkins - lets have a look
Graham - give him another shot
*Lucky - Eggmolesse-Smith.

4 changes to a side that beats a top 2 side in their hometown by 7 goals. Interesting

Egg out
-
Play Cotchin.
No change.
Rest a few week after.

Cotchin "flagged for a rest"
FoxFooty's Jon Ralph says captain Trent Cotchin is "flagged for a rest" for the Tigers' next game against Port Adelaide on Saturday.
Josh Caddy is among the players in the mix to return, while Dion Prestia and Bachar Houli are two or three weeks away.

We’ve got four days to back up against the top team.
Clearly as we witnessed last night, Soldo is running on fumes and needs a rest. He was rubbish. If CCJ isn't available then Nank would have to replace him as that was the worst rucking performance I’ve ever seen.
Higgins was poor up forward and didn’t apply the appropriate pressure we are known for.
Ross is a shadow of his own self he’s not up to standard at the minute.
Cotchin is going to be rested. Graham - He's had a rest and he needs return to his tackling best. Caddy and anyone else that can apply pressure and lay a bone crunching tackle.
Port are quintessential down hill skiers. Apply enough pressure and they will crumble.
This weeks mandate should be smash the ball carrier they will crumble like a bar of Cadbury’s Flake.
-
Just depends who needs a rest. Cotch is the only obvious one. Soldo is out on form if anyone else is available. This is a pretty crucial game and with a long rest next week I wouldn't be Bulk resting for the sake of it.

Any word on Shedda coming back?
Cotch + Higgins out
Caddy + RCD in
Ross lucky
-
Cotch only played 72% game time and 67% the week before. Other than the flight time I can't see why he couldn't play.
I dont think you can expect Nank to come straight back in after 5 weeks out either.
Winning the last 2 has certainly taken the pressure off but we need to keep a strong team in against P.A
-
Caddy + RCD in
Riley Emergency-Dawkins.... :shh
-
I'd just have Chol as the number 1 ruck against Port and drop Soldo
For this week just have one ruck. Would just be like what we had last night :lol
INS: Caddy, RCD
OUTS: Higgins, Cotchin
The Egg remains only because Bachar needs a scratch match hit out first

Wonder if Port will manage a few out??

Hardwick said Cotchin would be the only player rested.
Tigers to leave star veteran in Queensland, will miss Port clash
afl.com.au
7 August 2020
RICHMOND will leave captain Trent Cotchin in Queensland for its trip to face Port Adelaide as the Tigers manage the veteran midfielder.
The 30-year-old, who has had a run of hamstring injuries over the past two season, is being managed through the AFL's fixture cram.
Cotchin returned from his latest soft-tissue concern to face the Western Bulldogs last Friday and followed up against the Lions on Tuesday, but will sit out the clash with the ladder-leaders.
"He won't go [to Adelaide]. He's probably the one player that we have put a bit of a plan in place in regards to his injury history with regard to his hamstring," coach Damien Hardwick said.
"He won't board the plane but he will obviously be right for nine or 10 days later."

Port going with two rucks - Lycett & Ladhams.
Justin Westhoff will be rested while Sam Mayes has been suspended.
Brad Ebert (concussion), Ryan Burton (quadriceps) and Steven Motlop (ankle) all remain at least another week away.

Any word on Shedda coming back?
Still waiting for the birth of his and his partner's child. So probably won't be back until towards the end of the H/A season.
