Better than the others, better keep gum leaf jokes to myself this year the way things are going :shh
-
I like it.
Very black is the guernsey the yellow is subtle yet defined enough to show a real appreciation of the indigenous art and culture. Well done to all concerned. :thumbsup
-
Really like that one. Best one yet. Might actually get one.
-
I've never been a fan of changing our guernsey.
But this is the best one I've seen.
I've heard if you throw it correctly it'll come right back to you. :thumbsup
-
Comfortably the best one we've had.
-
Ist one that Ive really liked. Well done to all involved in designing it. Jumper is a winner :clapping :gotigers
-
Best one yet :thumbsup.
It will really stand out well against Essendon's grey clash monstrosity.
-
Love it :clapping, should push good sales volumes :thumbsup
-
Brilliant!
Great scarf too!

lol it is pretty funny HOWEVER the zigzag motif was used on aboriginal war shields. There is an aboriginal artist in NSW who paints them on surfboards as well.

It is indeed. I received an email at home this morning with details about what the boomerangs mean & represent eith a bit about the artist.
But I suppose with the cartoon it comes down to what an individual thinks whether it is racist or not. A bit like a something I read I yesterday about Daw from N0rt ;)

2013 Dreamtime guernsey revealed
By richmondfc.com.au
Exclusive to richmondfc.com.au 4:00pm AEST Sunday, May 13, 2012
Richmond has revealed its 2013 Dreamtime guernsey for the blockbuster clash with Essendon in Round 9.
Nathan Patterson, an Indigenous artist from Torquay, Victoria, was selected as the winner of the Club’s guernsey competition.
Patterson drew on inspiration of local Indigenous culture, representing the Kulin Nation (Indigenous communities of the Melbourne area), the Wathaurong, Dja Dja Wurrung, Boon Wurrung, Taungerong and Woi Wurrung clans in his design, as well as the Yarra River.

Essendon should do it too IMHO instead of wearing that horrendous grey clash with no indigenous elements whatsoever

They don't need to. They are there to provide the indigenous players!

Thought this was quite funny from a Bummers fan:
Cotchin - A grader and potentially can become a super star but ain't one yet , doesn't kick enough goals and has shocking disposal efficiency, currently not in the same league as Ablett/watson/Pendles/Selwood . . . In saying that watson couldn't kick 4 years ago and he has become a super star .
Martin - The gone missing man yeh , plays 1/3 of the game and vanish for the rest, disposal rate is good and great kick at goal.
Conca - Yehhhhh no not a great player sorta like atley of norf or Melkshem of Essendon.
Vickery - The next Wayne Carey Richmond supports tell me , what has he done kicked afew goals vs carlton this year and nothing else so far in 2013.
Ellis - Not worth talking about, C grade player at best.
Vlastuin - 1st year player , played great vs Port on the weekend but it was against PORT. . . So lets not load him with up with to much expectations yet mate so I won't pass judgement . . .

Lulz at Conca like Melksham. Melksham only gets a game so they don't have to own up to butchering a top 10 pick to their fickle fans.

I bought the jumper and will be very happy if we win in it tomorrow night.
If we lose I'll set it on fire with a few of the fellas at the game.
-
Just tried to order on-line and the only ones available are youths ones
No adult ones coming up as being available
Would bid for one but the club puts ridiculous reserves on then IMO

Agree about the bidding. Maybe bid on a daniel Jackson perhaps ;)
Had finished work early today so i could go down and get one in the flesh.... something came up and now I am one angry MDFR :banghead :banghead
-
There is a bid for Jacko's of $150 and says "reserved not reach"
Appears the reserve is $200
$200 for a jumper they were selling for $130 that has a signature on it. Not sure $200 is reasonable.
And I wonder what the intend to do with the player ones that are getting used that is the ones for players who are not playing?

They had heaps at the club on Wednesday

Due to demand they'll probably get a few more made up. :thumbsup
