May I suggest, if possible, that we have something like they have on Big Footy where you can view the first unread post in a thread.  Especially when a thread is several pages long, this saves a lot of hassle.

Click on the (http://oneeyed-richmond.com/forum/Themes/default/images/english/new.gif) icon Julz that is attached to each thread that has unread post(s). It does exactly what you need  :cheers.

Yes the heat tends to get to you after a while.
