Never saw him play but have seen some old footage. Some say he was greatest follower the game has ever seen.
The only real memory I have is an unfortunate radio interview when he accused Richmond, the VFL and the umpires for cheating in the ‘67 premiership win. It was really sad interview actually because he didn’t sound right.

One of the few players that actually changed the way the game is played. Fantastic player.
