The difference between the sides is when they go forward they look slick
Our work in the forward line looks uncoordinated, but we're still in it and staying in touch.
Both teams look pretty ordinary at this stage.

Good spirit so far. Quick game with plenty of pressure, some sloppy skills on both sides and plenty of turnovers. Tiges have dominated centre clearances, with Brown and Johnson doing a good job, and Bowden, Flemming and Tiv servicable. Newman moved onto Matera after Chaffey let him get 3 first quater goals, and kept him quiet for the second qtr. Richo got on top of his opponent that qtr, but still fluffed a few shots.
Let's keep it up for another half 8)

LMAOO...the Foxtel commentator just said the Eagles had turned the game on it's ear, but it sounded like he said "turned the game on it's rear".

Geez it sheets me when the commentators say "player X found some form today". They always seem to find form against us. It's like the Geelong game when Danny said of Ben Graham something like "we knew he had a good record against us, but who would of expected him to do that?"
Does our match committee prepare for all their playes, or just assume that "player X is only a rookie"
and "plyaer Y is out of form"?
BTW...2.5 to Richo today.

Same old same old. The opposition step up the pressure and we can't go with them both physically and skill-wise. Our grinding gameplan keeps our score low yet can only hold the opposition for so long before they break it open. Too many passengers that leaves too much to too few!
To be honest it was our intensity and that the Eagles skill errors were as bad as ours that kept the game close for the first half. Once they started hitting their targets and winning the ball out of the centre in the third quarter as our intensity completely fell away, we were again blown out of the water - 7 goals to 1 :(. The skill levels deteriorated once again in the last as both sides went through the motions.

Agree Fwoy. Same last week as well (Josh Mahoney). Cambo obviously hasn't been 100% since he's come back and is struggling for pace. Maybe play him up forward (a la Voss) as Cambo's a pretty good lead and mark.

LOL @ froars optimism when we were 3 points up and then in a true Richmond like performance comes crashing down!!
2 things i got out of this game
1. We will be lucky to win another game this season with the skill level we showed today
2. West Coast wont win outside WA this year
