On the eve of its fourth straight finals series, St Kilda is set to post a loss of more than $1.5 million.

North, Dogs and Dees regularly are the ones where there's concerns about their long-term survival but the Saints are not far behind. If they are still losing money after playing finals for the best part of the past 8 years and after making the past two Grand Finals then what financial position are they going to be in when they slide down the ladder and are rebuilding again. Their list will be in a shocking state once the older group retires and disappears in the next few years. They have barely any quality youth coming through.

Wouldn't be trying to make it sound better than what it is :wallywink

Strippers are expensive these days, I think we are all finding it hard to make ends meet, so to speak.

Worrying signs for a football team in decline.

Only St Kilda could walk away with no success onfield and a huge financial loss off-field after starting with the list they had with back in 2004 and the next 8 years near the top including 3 Grand Finals. Plenty of pain on and off-field to come for the Sainters now their window of opportunity has closed.

It's ok, Watters said the club's goal was 50k members this year :rollin :rollin :rollin
