Patto will be the type who can play both in the ruck and up forward. After rucking all this year due to Simmo being out, where do you think Patto should mostly play in 2008?

Off the bench, CHF or there abouts. Occasional ruck work in a supporting role.

CHF.
His kicking is a massive concern IMO. ???

I don't think he'll end up a CHF but I'd like to see Patto play as a tall forward with a license to run while also being a relieving ruckman for Simmo and around the ground as a follower.

Patto should be relieving Simmo in the ruck and when Simmo is rested he can go to the fwd line for a rest and Patto can do the around the ground duties. He does not yet have the mobility to be a CHF or CHB although we are all aware of his big ticker ans we know whatever role he is given he will attack it with fervour and gusto. :thumbsup

i've always thought that pattos kicking has been solid, yes he might look a bit awkward but in comparison to most people of his height he would be at least on par
