Onto the contracted Tigers now. First up is Ray Hall who is contracted for 2007.
2006 was Razor's 8th year at Richmond for 99 matches. Made his debut in R22 1999 but didn't work his was into the side until 2001. This year Razor played 13 games in a season interrupted by injury (back/general soreness?). Played 2006 mostly as a key defender with Gas missing so much footy. He played in only one of our massive hidings but that was the one where Gehrig tore him to pieces at FB. Statistically it was Razor's best return averaging 13.3 disposals and 5.8 marks.

What to do with Razor - trade or keep?

He'll survive for one more year then itll be goodbye to Raymond as well.
-
trade delist kill which ever will do
-
Been saying for the last couple of seasons that Ray is good trade bait. Still think you would get something decent for him in a package like scenario.
But this time round due to other list management decisions and with our apparent lack of big defeders I think Ray will be there in 2007.
Would look at a trade if it was for a deal that means we get a experienced defender (an NO that doesn't mean Polak >:().
But all things considered it's a YEAH he stays for mine
-
Yeah for 2007 only as a depth player, cos surely Ray will not be at RFC in 08 ?

Big yes for Ray

Jacko is now doing diggler style comedy. By the way where is Diggs...has he peeed off on us has he.
-
Rayzor is OK as a spare parts tall, but he is not a CHB.
Use him as required and he'll be OK.
Keep for me.
Yeah
-
Razor is okay around CHB but is out of his depth defending closer to goal. Test the waters during trade week otherwise keep.
Big yes for Ray
Jack is Razor ;D

Now that Stafford is gone gotta have someone with a bit of mongrel in them.
Remember when Ray Hall sorted out Cameron Cloke last year.

People must forget that tall defenders don't grow on trees.
He is big and can run fast and gets a fist on it most of the time. keep

The last couple of offseasons I've been saying trade, but I'll retract that now, not because he has improved a great deal, but because with Kellaway being traded on, Thursfield going down with a knee and our lack of action in recruiting a key defender we need any depth we can get next season. He's an in between size, where the better players tend to have great awareness and footy smarts and I'm absolutely convinced that Ray is found wanting in this department. A hack (and I think the umpires realise this tbh he conceds a lot of free kicks) but we have do make do with what we have for the moment.

I guess we need to keep Hall because we don't really have many genuine key defenders
