Cotch getting everyone to stand up and hug the person next to each other. Did the same thing on That's Good for Footy last week.
Celebrate the journey not the destination (which we didn't achieve this year). Celebrate the little things that unite us.
We must evolve. The game changes and so must we in 2019. Learn from 2018 just as we did from 2016.
Hardest thing in football is to say goodbye to those leaving.
-----------------------------
Team up on stage now. Looks like the full list is there including Griffs & Hampson. Garth on crutches.
-
Dimma now:
Still raw. Hard to watch the Grand Final.
It's a harsh reality. No guarantees in September. A missed opportunity no doubt but by no means the end of our journey.
We're a proud group. Harsh lessons from the prelim loss will drive us to improve so we can cope with whatever is thrown at us in the future.
Said it was a good 2018 season and congratulated our 4 All-Australians, Jack winning the Coleman & Higgo for his goal of the year plus playing all 22 games in his first year (a delight to coach).
There is always change at the end of a season. Wished those leaving (no player names mentioned) including Rutten all the best.
Quoted Floyd Patterson who was the first heavy-weight fighter to win the title; then lose (to a underdog; was knocked down 7 times); then regain the title: "It was worth losing the title for this. This is the most gratifying moment of my life. I'm a real champion now."
-
Miles won our VFL B&F.
C.Ellis was second with Aarts third.
-
is that back-to-back?
-
Yep.

47 votes separating Lambert and CEllis....hmmmmmmm
-
Alex Rance on handling the Collingwood loss: It was one of the longest weeks of my life and it didn’t get any better until West Coast won the grand final 😂😂 #gotiges #JackDyerMedal
Jack Reiwoldt: ‘I can’t win the Brownlow because that’s a midfielders award so I’ve gotta try and win something’.
Hamish to Snags ‘How’s your heart?’. Snags ‘100,00 Miles per second’.
Hamish ‘How was your first game?’ Snags: I got there and Cotch said ‘What are you doing here so early?’ Snags: ‘I don’t really know’.

Star Richmond key forward Jack Riewoldt has capped off his best season of AFL football by winning the 2018 Jack Dyer Medal.
This is the second Jack Dyer Medal for Riewoldt, who previously won it in 2010.
Riewoldt took out the Tigers’ 2018 Best and Fairest award at tonight’s count held at a packed Crown Palladium ballroom.
He polled 81 votes, which was 13 more than top midfielder Kane Lambert, who finished runner-up with 68 votes.

Jack off with Dusty to Thailand tomorrow .
-
Jack said his past two weeks are summed up by the Jimmy Cliff song:
I can see clearly now the rain is gone
I can see all obstacles in my way
Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind
It's gonna be a bright (bright)
Bright (bright) sunshiny day
It's gonna be a bright (bright)
Bright (bright) sunshiny day
-
So I predicted the top 5 right but only had dusty in his correct position. Fair effort.

I stand corrected. I was just quoting Jack . Before my time ;).

At least he didn't cite Hothouse Flowers.... :shh
-
Dustin Martin ...
Since he debut in 2010 he has finished top 3 every year?
That has to be a record surely?
Lambert ...
3rd 2017, 2nd 2018 ... what a rookie pick up!
Grimes ...
back to back 5th place!
Rance - dropped off and clearly coaches thought so too!
Grigg - for a player that plays important roles to finish 17th is a concern. Surely he will see more VFL in 2019?
Prestia - hoping 2019 comes with no injuries!
-
Dustin Martin ...
Since he debut in 2010 he has finished top 3 every year?
That has to be a record surely?
Dusty came 4th in his debut year (2010) and was outside the top 5 in 2012. Every other year he has finished in the top 3.
2010-18: 4, 2, -, 3, 2, 3, 1, 1, 3.

Congrats Jack. Totally deserved after a terrific season.
A true Tiger champion and a future legend of the club :bow.

Aside from potentially eq. 20th Conca going home, Lynch will join us without us losing a top 20 B&F player. Should send this to Andy Maher.
-
Thoroughly deserved win. Congratulations to him. A Richmond great. His attitude is inspiring.

Nank a bit stiff in 13th place?
-
Lambert in second place is as a shock to me as Jackson winning the B&B. Did he really have that good a year? Numbers say it was okay but I’m not convinced and ahead of the other top 5. Na
-
Was our second leading vote getter behind dusty in both the coaches award and Brownlow.
Had a very good season. Seems like people are looking for a new whipping boy now that concas off and Brando is in and out of the 22.
-
Stop jumping to conclusions son I was pointing out I don’t believe he was top 5. A fair season yes but ahead of the other 3. No way.
The Brownlow is a great judge too just ask rance.
-
There's not much splitting 2nd-6th so I guess he kinda edged out in the role he plays. I do think Grimes would have been worthy for 2nd
