With all the carrying on over the past week about Buddy's bump and now what we are likely to have to put up with regarding Lloyd.
It has got me thinking back to one of the best "hip 'n' shoulders" of the last 20 years
Scott Turner on O'Donnell in 1995 semi. ;D
Thank goodness it happened then and not now :help
Who knows how many weeks Scott would have got?
What would have Campbell Brown (who knows a bit a bout sniping himself I would have thought) have said post match to MMM?
I am all for protecting the head and neck but seriously what is the game coming too?
For mine Scott Turner would be up for a minimum of 4 weeks today, which just doesnt seem right does it?

Reported for charging
Severe impact lol
Body contact (hip 'n shoulder laid O'Donnell out but was the main force of contact high?)
Intentional conduct (not negligent or reckless?)
8 activation points = Level 5 = 550 points
Minus 25% early plea = 550 - 137.5 = 412.5 points = 4 weeks.
Tribunal booklet - pages 6-7

If the contact was classed as intentional, severe and high then Scotty would have been off to the tribunal directly now days.

Scotty was a hard man. I also remember an excellent bump against that bald Westcoast player whose name completely escapes me. Really hurt him, a damn good hip and shoulder.

Dean Kemp?
Fair player was Kemp.

It was Dean Kemp.....back in 1998.
I am an expert when it comes to victories over West Coast. :thumbsup.
I celebrate them like finals wins

In all seriousness that's the most difficult thing about this rule how do you deem it intentional, reckless or negligent? They've missed the most obvious INSTINCT.... Players (well most) have been bought up to bump
