I know we weren't going to get him if he had that pick but...
Callan Ward... :banghead

Congrat to Rich. A ready made gun as he showed last year in junior footy. The Lions must have thought they were dreaming when he slipped to pick 7. Freo and Carlton especially will be kicking themselves.
The Crows and Bombers will also be happy with their recruiting in the last year or two to turnaround aging lists.
The lack of youth taken in the last two drafts probably sums up why no Tiger got nominated although Collo was stiff he got injured when he did as his form and stats deserved a nomination. Vickery and Post being talls who usually take longer to develop will hopefully be recognised next year as will hopefully a couple of our picks in the upcoming draft.

Can Collo get nominated next year??

Can Collo get nominated next year??
Not to my knowledge.
He's played exactly the maximum number of games, but he will be 21 in November which means he'll be too old to be considered for next seasons award.
I wonder who the oldest person to win it is?

Bucks was 21 when he won it. I think he was the oldest winner.
