Friday, November 13 (2pm) -- List Lodgement 2.
Does anyone think we'll make any further delistings tomorrow or do you think we've made all our cuts already?
-
I think we should cut one more so we can have an extra pick the national draft.

Richo?

Richo wasnt the player, I would have gotten rid of someone else. Sad day today with Richo finishing.
-
Richo doesn't give us an extra pick in the National draft as he was a veteran listed. We do get another rookie pick though if we choose to use it.

John Meesen (Melbourne)
Michael Newton (Melbourne)

I hope we don't go near Cloke as a temporary mature body ruck option.

It doesn't seem right seeing Richo's name on that list. :(

I actually think that Michael (Juice) Newton can play

Certainly shows a lot at VFL level
I don't think Melb has actually really given him much opportunity to string games to gether at AFL level to see if he can play

My thoughts is he has most things you need in a key forward but from memory he also has some concerns with kicking accurately at goal. Is this the case?

Yeah I did actually. Riewoldt was poor but we are talking about newton now. im not for or against. I can recall Newton being a good mark, plenty of mobility but I also recall some of his kicking for goal. the question is can a new club, new coaching, maybe a new routine improve his kicking for goal.

The answer, YES !.
Clubs tend to "'sterotype" players and not give them a go.
Watch Raines in Brisbane in 2010, earmarked to play on ball ;)
