I couldn't find this on the net so I scanned it in....
Rocks in a hard place
Tigers leave no stone unturned in pre-season
By Scott Gullan
Fri 18 Dec 2009, Page 112
AT 6AM yesterday Richmond players arrived at Punt Rd with no idea what was in store for the next 48 hours.
They were then split into five teams, handed a set of instructions and told to figure out how to get to the desired destination.
The first task was to get to Southern Cross station, where they boarded a train for Geelong.
When they arrived there they were met by a fleet of mini-buses driven by the coaching staff.
The trick here was the players had to figure out what was next.
That was a series of gruelling exercises at Bells Beach, near Torquay, followed by a 10km bike ride around the hills behind Lorne.
And more is to come today, but they won't find out what until they wake up.
``It started out like a bit of an Amazing Race where they had to work out a lot of cryptic clues about where they had to go and what they had to do,'' Richmond football operations manager Ross Monaghan said.
``It has been a great communication exercise, they have worked hard and had a bit of fun along the way.''
If anyone can scan in the pics it would be much appreciated :) ...
Pic Caption: For whom the Bells tolls: young Tiger Andrew Collins (left) feels the strain as teammates led by Dean Polo charge down Bells Beach yesterday under orders from coach Damien Hardwick (far right). Others to feel the pinch were (below, from left) Shane Tuck, Dustin Martin, pre-season draftee Dylan Grimes, Matt Dea, Kelvin Moore and skipper Chris Newman.

Polo looks like an angry man.
My tip to be the big improver of 2010. Just hope Hardwick lets him play his natural game.

He's probably thinking 'Why didn't I grab a little rock like Andy Collins, this thing is heavy!' :rollin

Aren't the 'tatts' just a fake sleeve? They don't look real to me.

weak bastard, not even holdong the rock above his head. :wallywink
-
Hardwick is working them hard and its good to see. We dont need any weak pricks at Richmond and this type of stuff will sort them out. He should make them run 2 or 3kms on beach sand holding the boulders over there heads at the same time, that will ensure we dont have any bludgers on the list :lol

why don't you pop down to training in the new year, look him in the eye and tell him yourself? Wonder who the weak bastard will be then?

Given the smiley afterwards I would say Ox was being facetious.

That's what I thought initially but it's looks like bare skin between the Richmond singlet and whatever is on his arms ???

I recon thats Tommy Hislop for sure and they do look like real tatts. I hope not, it looks stupid!!
-
The guy on the left is 100% Luke McGuane you'd put your house on it.
The colours are very saturated in colour maybe cause it's wet so could be some very poor choice in fashion by Luke but surely Hardwick wouldn't allow it.
If it is a tatoo sleeve I'm sorry to say Luke but its prob the worst I've seen.
-
I don't think they're real, that's far too much work to have had done in just a couple of months
Could be those stocking material joke tattoo sleeves, why you'd wear them to preseason training I have no idea though
Could also be compression tights type material for the arms perhaps

Well I agree, far too much work to have done in such a short time, outlike is done first and they don't like to colour in until 1-2 weeks after that. The outline alone would have taken ages to do and then he would have been in pain, too much to train at 100% so has to be fake.
-

To look tough of course. :P
That looks like bloody hard work to me.
-
Chutney has advised that:
The player is Luke
the tatts are fake - it's one of the those compression tops that you can now get ...
Chutney also said "No further correspondence will be entered into and have a Merry Xmas"

Ta WP.
At least we won't have some idiot journo asking Lukey to show off his fake tatts ::).

Reckon it's the last one infamy. Looks like a shooting sleeve that some NBA players use in the belief it the compression helps their shooting (and for looks).

EDIT: Didn't realise there was another page.
Good research Mr. Chutney.
