Title: How are the rookies going so far in preseason

Can people fill us in on how the rookies are going in preseason? Anyone looking likely for a promotion in 2010?

Hopefully a few of us are going to Tuesday's open training session and can gives us their opinions.

Of our rookies Polly, Gourdis, Roberts and Contin would be the ones in line for promotion based on ready-made age and/or size although if Roberts does a 24' around the Tan he is a long way off fitness wise. Gourdis' kicking will have to improve dramatically for him to be considered. We're allowed to promote two rookies off the bat before round 1 as we have no vets so I think Polly and like you Ramps Contin (if his fitness/ability is good enough by round 1) as the two likely promotions.

Roberts did 18 minutes the 2nd time around.  Something big had to have happened for such a big difference.
