Is this unusual to have it on a Friday, lunch time, isn't it normally a nighttime thing?

They're really going low key this season. Not many will turn up!
-
How can they have a venue and no address?
And as I've never been to one - can someone tell me what actually goes on at them?
-
perhaps generate extra publicity, method in the madness, How much does it normally cost to be on peak TV time ::)
-
$150 bucks for a Friday arvo thing just seems a little pricey. ::)

Formally present the players with their jumpers
Speech from the coach, president and sometimes the CEO speaks
Last couple of years inducted at least 2 new members into the HoF
Get a past great to propose a toast to the forth coming season. Last year they had Sheeds who suggested we could make the Grand Final :gobdrop :gobdrop and people wnated him to coach pluhhzzeeee
Usuall have players sitting on the tables with supporters as oppsed to having the players sitting all together

Yep... Tommy Hafey Club have their luncheons at the same venue (granted only 2 course) and they charge $110

Shocking date/time,
In saying that I'd absolutly go in my lunch break if it were free.
But with only get 45-60 mins plus 5-10 mins to walk there, I'm not paying $150 bucks for 30 mins.
