Next up is Nahas entering his 2nd year in AFL.
What are your expectations for Robbie in 2010 and what would be a good year for him?
Career stats:

nahas as can be seen by those stats provides much defensive pressure, his tackle ave is good
if he can improve his accuracy at goal, which i think he can, he is in for a big season this yr
for a small body he is quite strong

That's a terrific output for a small forward in his first season. I didn't realise he got so many disposals.
-
Expectations?? Plenty!! Hope for lots of tackles, lots of crumbing goals and for him to be an all-round nuisance that other clubs hate!

I hope he develops in the mould of Tony Liberatore but fairer. I see more tackles as the key to his game. I really do hope he has bulked up over the summer. I'd love to see another 10Kgs on him eventually. I see him as an inside player in the longer term, not so much of a goal sneak.
Still with those stats for a first year he could go either way, he can clearly kick a goal and tackles well.

It is interesting that when Nahas was running around in the VFL his goal conversion was fantastic.
He really struggled with last year, so obviously that's what I want to see an improvement in his conversion rate :gotigers

one we may need to upgrade on in the future. cant knock the season he had though and he is one of few forwards we have had in a long time who can create defensive pressure.
imo if he was more polished he would not have wallowed at vfl level for 2 or 3 yrs.

Great at tackling. Need other forwards to either take contested marks or apply pack pressure when ball coming in. How he performs will depend on the quality of delivery and the other forwards applying pack pressure.
-
other players need to watch his game and follow his lead.
he plays like someone who was given one chance to prove himself he can play AFL and took it. He gives everything and it shows in his tackling.
a midget compared to those other hacks like Mclovin who cant lay a tackle if their life depended on it.
Nahas to be in our top 5 B & F this season, and win our tackle count by the length of the straight :thumbsup
He will be our version of Milne within a few years
