CONTROVERSIAL Richmond player Ben Cousins was out and about on Saturday looking for some retail therapy.

Cousins, who it has been revealed saw his former teammate Chris Mainwaring with cocaine on a plate only hours before his death in 2007, was seen all rugged up like he was going to the snow, shopping at DFO South Wharf with his good mate, Saints player Michael Gardiner.

This is a result of the club not doing proper homework on Cousins before drafting him.

I'm sure if Richmond knew of his fondness for shopping, we'd have overlooked him.
