We've been debating for months about Casey VS Macek. But with Rex joining the mix, I'd like to know who would still vote for Casey if it was a direct choice between him and Rex, rather than a deal helping Casey to win this time, only to give the job to Rex after a transition.

Although the nature of politics begs to differ, I hope the days of doing deals behind closed doors are over and us members will always from now on have a say in who runs OUR Club. No more handovers, takeovers or threats of petitions and EGMs. The President or in fact any board member unless for private (family, illness, etc) reasons should serve out their whole term. When their position is replaced at an AGM election, the "new" board should decide who the new President should be.
If we had the choice of picking the president (which we don't and as I said in the other thread I'm happy with that) then out of Rex, Casey and Macek, Rex would win in a landslide due to his popularity and media/business profile.
