Ch 9 news with the major news stories again under the title "more trouble down at Tigerland" ::)
They had vision of some old lady at Victoria Park today abusing and grabbing our trainers carrying eskies because we didn't shut the gate so she could put the leash on her dog or something ridiculous like that. Seriously how does garbage like this make the 6pm news ::).

Some how this episode is supposed to make us look bad, but all I saw was a dramatising woman that tried real hard to go into convulsions to make everyone else wrong. Just ignore the crap Richmond, keep your eye on the ball and keep pushing forward, hold the lines steady, supporters need to as well, the majority of them are. Don't give in or buckle to the harbingers of evil tidings, stride out into the light and succeed. stuff the detractors.

Vic Park is a footy ground which only has the gate open on days a club is training there. So what was she doing there walking her dog on it. Slow news day obviously :sleep.

The Herald-Sun has put the vision up on their website (1.00 mark) ::)

What was the old woman's problem?
And was that Troy Taylor dealing with her? Probably not a people skills guru....

Well that was a breaking news story. what a load of nonsense. And to film the old duck when she was hyperventilating, what's going on there?

She wanted to walk her dogs at the oval while we were training lol?

What was that lady's problem? Looked like she was about to strike whoever the young man trying to talk to her was. And what was with the over dramatics with the water?

yes, just watched the video, can confirm it is one of our posters from here ;) :lol :wallywink
-
Did anyone go to training and actually see what happened or know the whole story?
-
She was trying to collect money owed to her by the Casey regime. When told she couldn't collect she accosted the boys in the race and after that some bloke with glasses poisoned her with water laced with arsenic.
-
dramatic old bitch ;D what a put on show, you sure it was not Joffas mum thinking her son was playing there :rollin
-
She was putting on a BS show for the camera, there was nothing wrong with her, stupid old bored lady who lunches. All I heard was some crap about "is that too much too ask" and then "OH!" cut to well rehearsed histrionics reserved for getting ones way, the reserve of children and women who act like them. >:(

LOL tiga @ milkshake :lol
-
it was like she was on the verge of a breakdown, does anyone know now what the issue was.
-
I was told what happened. The old lady was on the far side of Vic Park with her two poodles. A Richmond trainer arrived and opened the gate leading onto the oval in readiness for the start of training. He probably didn't even notice the old woman was there while he was doing it. The old lady then shouts out to close the gate so her dogs don't get out (the dogs however weren't moving) and so she can put the leashes on. By the time she comes over to the gate where all the Richmond staff were and verbally has a go at them she was in such a hysterical state (shaking the cup we gave her). The media by this time had arrived also and were filming the going on. My friend couldn't wipe the smile from her face. She thought the way the old woman was carrying on about nothing was hilarious.
All quiet at training at Punt Rd today thankfully.

Must be the same cameraman that follows Richmond players around like they are on trial for murder.
The trouble is,the network bosses promote this sort of thing to get headlines and hence sell more papers, get more ratings.
Just look at the Herald Sun and the BS they put in the papers to get more sales.
Good old Aunty ABC.
ABC and SBS -the only genuine stations left.
-
So did they have to put the bitch down?
-
Nah they were worried bout who would feed the dogs
