No disrespect to either, but both really struggled before they got injured

what despairs me with ritchie is that despite all his faults we discuss here,he has blistering and explosive pace, his ball control is excellent...yes his apparent lack of desire to get down and dirty is what bothers me most

Started off really well and then went missing.

I dont know why they play him in the forward line, he seems to always struggle.

Is there anymore news on his knee, I really think he is/was one pre-season away from something special, you can tell he has the smarts. I think the forward line is where he is better suited or the wing, what do you think?

Correct. He is perfect off half back so play him there

Well I just hope the hell Taylor hasn't done his knee and Tambling comes back soon, bad luck to both of them, if Taylor has done his knee IMO he should go through the Lars operation dependent on the amount of damage of course.

Our lack of depth is gonna be sorely tested with the loss of these two.  if it's long term for Taylor i would hope the Goo gets promoted.  Maybe Webberly in for Richie T.

It looks minor according to the club

If his knee injury is medial as initially reported then he won't need a reconstruction and will only be out for weeks rather than months.

fairly obvious that Taylor had his knee strapped, nursing a previous strain..the jolt clearly gave it a twang seeing him grimace like he'd stubbed an ingrown toe nail...he'll be right :shh

Playing with Ritchie this year was like playing 21 men.
No big loss there was playing his usual half hearted self before he was injured

Disposal was always his biggest weakness. Heard that he changed his preferred kicking foot half way through his junior career and also that he dropped the ball with his left hand onto his right boot for some reason. He's an athlete before a footballer, but his highlight reel from U18s was pretty impressive, check our Youtube.

I dont have a problem with the opposing hand dropping the ball.

Dont fix it if it isn't broke.

Firstly to the comment on page 1 or 2 of this thread that the mods should do their job.

Been just a touch difficult

I arrived back in Melb yesterday morning at 4.45am and when I tried to get on line yesterday afternoon we had no internet access yesterday and we hadn't for over 30 hours. After a 45 minute call of what I term "useless nothingness" with Bigpond's off shore call centre in the Phillipines I was told that it was unlikely we'd back on line before the 28th. Fortunately by some miracle we are back today

Having said that and as has been menioned on previous occassions we cannot be on the forum 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Bottom line there is NO EXCUSE for the childhish and personal crap that has been appeared throughout this thread

In answer to the question about Taylor's knee - it wasn't a pre-existing injury it happened on the night. He was due to have a scan either yesterday or today but the club is confident that is only a medial strain and the kid will only miss a few weeks

This thread has been locked and will be edited

Exactly! We as mods do have families and life outside of this forum especially on a public holiday. There's no excuse for all that childish crap that has now been removed.

The thread is open again so STICK TO THE TOPIC ppl!
