what would you like to see happen to the current player on the list age over 24 yoa at the end of the season?
32 Cousins, Ben 257 31yr 10mth
5 Simmonds, Troy 196 31yr 9mth
21 Tuck, Shane 114 28yr 4mth
17 Newman, Chris 159 27yr 11mth
13 McMahon, Jordan 148 26yr 11mth
40 Moore, Kelvin 71 26yr 1mth
28 King, Jake 42 26yr 1mth 26
6 Polak, Graham 26yr 6mth

You think unless he can find a bit extra (Be it mind or injury holding him back) let him go. Would like to see him stay if he can find that bit more, just for the sake of showing some leadership skills to the troops.
5 Simmonds, Troy 196 31yr 9mth - Seeya
21 Tuck, Shane 114 28yr 4mth - Tucky is hard at it and leads by example in this area - something we lack - keep for mine.
17 Newman, Chris 159 27yr 11mth - They will keep him, would be tempted if GC would cough up a high pick to trade.
13 McMahon, Jordan 148 26yr 11mth - Toddles
40 Moore, Kelvin 71 26yr 1mth - Was very critical of moore early days and then saw something and he did step up, needs to do it again - keep.
28 King, Jake 42 26yr 1mth 26 - Hard nut, another GC may want to chase for a pick ?
6 Polak, Graham 26yr 6mth - Sorry, unless he grabs the chance with both hands if/when he is given the opp - seeya (Doubt he will)

40 Moore, Kelvin 71 26yr 1mth Trade
28 King, Jake 42 26yr 1mth 26 delist

Keep Newman & Moore. The rest can go.
-
I wouldnt keep any of them. Trade Newman and Moore before its to late to get anything for them
-
Keep Tuck as well! Jury out on Cousins.
Very pleased to see him actually trying to get it to a team mate and we just need him around for his hardness.
How about we play McMuffin, give him three votes everytime and pray that GC take him. ;D
-
If we don't try to trade one of Moore, McGuane and Thursfield we are mad. None are good enough to take on a key power forward, all would take 2nd and 3rd talls. I'd trade Thursfield first, who hasn't developed as I hoped. Moore would be second in preference due to his age.
-
Cousins, Simmonds and McMahon are worth nothing and will go.
Tuck and King may be of absolutely minimal value and may be traded otherwise keep Tuck but dump King.
Keep Moore and Newman as they are both in the leadership group and are average players so therefore some of our best at the moment :whistle
Polak will more than likely go but I'll wait until I see him play a few weeks before I'm absolutely convinced.
Stripes can go too :P

agree with CUB.

32 Cousins, Ben 257 31yr 10mth - retire
5 Simmonds, Troy 196 31yr 9mth - retire
21 Tuck, Shane 114 28yr 4mth - Most likely gone but could be kept as cannon fodder until the young guys make him totally superfluous.
17 Newman, Chris 159 27yr 11mth - stays
13 McMahon, Jordan 148 26yr 11mth - Gone!
40 Moore, Kelvin 71 26yr 1mth - stays unless a trade is half-decent.
28 King, Jake 42 26yr 1mth 26 - Gone!
6 Polak, Graham 26yr 6mth - Gone.
-
Cousins - Retire
Simmonds - Retire
Tuck - Trade/Delist
Newman - Trade
McMahon - Delist
Moore - Keep
King - Probably delist
Polak - TBC

Just goes to show we talk about our senior players standing up but most aren't worth a pinch bat turd and would be delisted or traded

Yep, x 2.

Cousins if he can play should play. Adds leadership.
Moore and Newman should be used as trade bait and now that the club has shot its mouth off expect third round picks to magnify where we are currently as a club list wise.
The rest will be gawn. Maybe Tuck may get a reprieve if he keeps playing the way he is and just as an insurance policy while the kids hopefully bulk up more and thus make him obsolete.

I don't agree at all, its still too soon to make the call on Thursfield & McGuane, plus we have no one to replace them with unless we want to leak more goals than we are now. Moore is the most likely candidate to move on due to his age, however we need a few older bodies around like Moore.
-
Trading players that are in our leadership group currently ie Moore and Newman won't add to their value as we lack in that area as we know and the perception of them at other clubs would not be that great either.
As Ramps said in Newman's case a dime a dozen half back flanker. I still believe in a compromised draft that they both are a third rounder selection/trade.

Disagree, Newman should be a late 1st round pick, Moore a 2nd rounder easily
As teams look to top up before the compromised drafts, you'll find many clubs paying good returns for decent players and those two are the ideal candidates. We can afford to lose Moore less as he's a defender and younger than Newman too.

Keep Moore and Thursfield. Trade Newman if can

Newman late 1st Round, Moore 2nd ::)
What medication are you on ??????
Chris Newman is 28 next season, best football behind him, and you reckon 1st Round :banghead
And Kel Moore, round 2, hardly a world beater, struggle to get a game anywhere else.
You see, thats wrong at Punt Road, everyone falls in love with players who arent much good, thats why we are BOTTOM

Point is though we don't have anyone to replace them with right now, but over the next couple of years we are going to have to keep drafting for a real CHB to take gun power forwards. It doesn't make sense to keep 3 talls who are at or nearing their potential when none of them are really a good enough KP option.

Correct, we seen what the ""POD"" did last weekend

The "POD" is 28, so only a couple of years left in him by your words
Remember a late 1st round pick this year is around Pick 25
