Title: Changes next week for the St Kilda game?

Fire away ....

Browne has to play, he was sensational today for the Burgers and adds to his recent good form.

Post was also fantastic playing up forward, he was grabbing everything that come his way. Probably needs another week or two to prove himself at Coburg though.

Thats probably about it.

Maybe take a cautious approach with Griffiths especially against St Kilda and bring in Vickery or Browne.

Agree with Tucker on this. Id also bring back Foley and take out someone like Collins.

Gee Ramps, hard to knock Collins game today.

You don't take out a guy like Collins after he laid 13 tackles.

Out: Polak
In: Browne

Foley could also come in, but not sure for who.

Well its Simmonds anyway who will come in for his farewell. Hopefully for Griffiths as I said.

Foley is one for inclusion also as Ramps said but I am finding it hard to omit someone just now.

Yes I know but I feel that Collins can do better - hes not producing what I think he can and Hardwick needs to send him a message. Itll be for his own good anyway.

If Foley is still unavailable maybe Morton may be a chance for inclusion.

Second game back in for a mid who has more of a receiving/finishing role and he got in and under and tackled like he was a hard nut inside mid today.  What more does he need to do in those conditions to keep his spot next week?  I'll be gobsmacked if he is dropped.

I doubt we'd bring Morton in after only 1 good game at Coburg.  Make him do it again.

Yep, that would be the reason.  Unfortunately, that is not a good reason for some.

Has King earned his spot? I would like to see him line up on Milne and earn a 2 year suspension before the ball is bounced.... but I'm a bad person!
Does Will come back? he might be a good match for Goddard? even Polo for montagna?
A job on Koschitszke for Polak? Can he stay in with Simmons coming back?
Imagine if Foley and Jackson were to return after such a win!

No, wouldn't stick close enough to him or get under his skin (distract him) enough.  I have to say that I would go with King, but I know many others will disagree.

Thursty killed Milne last year. I'd bring in Thursty, Post and Simmo and out goes Polak. I'd like to see Moore rotated out this week and Post given a run. I like Moore but we have an undersized defence and Thursty, Mcguane and Farmer have had a game off, so I'd give Moore a week off. Pretty hard to make a change this week but Simmo will be in for his farewell game and Polak is the obvious player to make way

King won't be at the club next year. In round 17 he'll go out with a bang when we play the Pies. He'll wear some steel armguards under the long sleeve guernset that day and continually smack Cloke, Didak and Maxwell for fun. :lol :rollin :lol

what about no changes ? and consider browne to play dont want to demoralize him when the saints march in :p wait till we play a less punishable team :)

Tough to drop players after an effort like that
However you'd assume that Polak will come out for Simmo's farewell and someone will have to go for Foley

Farmer plays reasonably loose.  Remember that.  Not sure if he'd be better on Schneider or Milne.

wouldnt be surprised to see Nason rested. How bad was Griffiths corkie? He could make way for simmonds if the corkie is bad enough.

A lot of the players will be sore today and the club have already shown that they are prepared to be cautious and rest sore/slightly injured players.

I could see Martin getting another rest before the season is out, but whether or not it is this week?

Morton, perhaps Post and Browne could be in line. Will bring in Simmonds of course but can't can't see them making too many changes unless going to rest players. Would not bring in Foley unless they are 100 per cent he is okay to play. Absolutely no point risking players.

Darcy on OWAAT reckons he's heard a whisper that Browne may play this week.

Btw the only three players we haven't used yet is Browne (as he's raw), Grimes (been injured) and poor old Jordie (whose papers are stamped).

Would love to see BrownE get a game but I can't see it being this week with Simmo playing his farewell game

The following week agaisnt the Eagles is the one IMHO

You want to "rest" Graham after 3 games  :-\

And I don't understand why people want Post back in after 1 good game at Coburg. He  needs to string some decent footy together not just 1 game IMHO.

Bottom line is no one should be dropped after the win but some one has to

RICHMOND - In the Mix

It's tough to get your head around, but the Richmond match committee will have a bit of a dilemma on its hands this week. The inclusion of Troy Simmonds for his final AFL match should see the struggling Graham Polak make way, but with senior midfielder Nathan Foley expected to be passed fit to play, Richard Tambling could be the player to make way, which is unfortunate after the side collected its first win.

Yep, no way Tambling will get dropped unless it's for injury.  Collins is the one that will go.

Tambling wont get dropped based on his game last week and nor should

As someone has to make way for Foley, I suggested King but think Collins is the other obvious one IMHO

Tambling must play need to keep building up what currency he has left.

Once a hack always a hack and 1 descent/average game wont change that
