I'd like those to be the changes, although not sure we'll have all 7
That being said we do need a ruckman to replace Simmo and help Graham, Browne does deserve a shot
Foley, Jackson & Connors you'd expect to be walk up starts, as is Moore if he's fit so we need a few outs to fit them all in
Morton was shocking and you'd expect Griffiths back from his corky to replace him
Only doubtful one to get the nod on my list is Gourdis after missing last week, although we do need to try someone else down back, perhaps next week isn't the week for that to happen.

I agree with the outs but who is the small forward? Tambling? Delidio? something we really lacked tonight, Morton has to go, what is his story? Nahas needs another go because someone has to play that role I would like to see Taylor back ASAP

With Foley and Jackson back we can perhaps play Edwards as the small forward as we have plenty of midfielders. Cousins can play more of a half forward role also along with Collins who kicked 2 goals tonight.
Nahas was rubbish last week too so he deserves to get dropped for two bad ones in a row

Am I the only one who thinks Jake Kings form has been pretty solid over the past fortnight.
Definately deserves to hold his spot in the team IMO.

Wonder what is going on with Morton, he was playing decent footy even when they dropped him to work on things, but now, he has lost his natural rhythm or something. He couldn't seem to get into the game.

Barely.
No use being talented if you aren't going to do the team things instead of purely chasing goals.
Kicked a few at the start of the year but was still a massive liability in defence and in flouting team rules, which was clear as day during the Melbourne game when Hardwick was rope-able at him on the boundary line and after the Melbourne game when he was subsequently dropped.

I watched the game twice on TV this week, it's a lot easier to see things the second time around when the emotion gets out of the system.
Cotch's disposal was dead-set ordinary last night. Fair enough, he got a lot of it in heavy traffic and was heavily tagged, but he almost made Tucky look clean.
I thought that Morton looked completely lost. He seemed like he was trying to suppress his natural game in order to follow team rules, but he ended up getting where the ball wasn't and not real close to his opponent.
I didn't think that Whitey had much success as a defensive forward, but he is better in that role than Sloppy. We still need a hit-up marking forward flanker, but I can't think of anyone other than Taylor who could fill that role for us.
I have no idea what instructions Nahas is following at present, he seems to be letting the side down from where I sit. Another one who gets where the ball aint. He doesn't seem to be positioning himself front and centre at the marking contests and isn't there when it goes over the back. He gets pushed off the ball and blocked out of the contest too easily and isn't a good enough kick when he does get it.
I'm not convinced about Titch Edwards. I reckon that he throws his shoulders back and lifts his head midway through the kicking motion, just as he is about the contact the ball, and it sends the ball everywhere else but where he wants it to go. I reckon it's time he went back to the 'Burg and learned to stay down and kick through the ball like he really means it to go where he is aiming.
I thought Webbers got a lot of the ball, but too often just booted bombs. I've read that he is supposed to be a good kick, but he needs to show a lot more in that area.
Kingy added some value in the midfield - have to admit I was pleasantly surprised.
The Aints showed us up for having too many midgets in the side. Goddard and Gilbert looked like giants compared to our guys. I hope the recruiters are out looking for some mids who have bigger bodies than our current crop.

We need a good crumbing forward while Nahas has a rest, wonder how Relton is going. He certainly has got his body into some good nick, lean and some nice big grapefruits on the shoulders.

theres no real need to play a specialist small forward for the sake of it. collins cotchin cousins would do as well as any of the small forwards we have. and are far more quality and well rounded. they can also obviously be part of midfield rotations.
atm if we were to take a small in for a specific forward role it would be nason.
personally i would go with this team. dunno how many changes that is but a few.

With all due respect bj17 regarding Gus, I make no apologies for what i wrote at the time regarding his efforts, poor body language and at times lack of effort (read attacko nthe contest)at Coburg. It is great to see him playing good footy since he has been bought in but and it is a big but he has only played 3 games this season and what I want I want to see (actually what we need to see) is this sort of effort for the remainder of the year not just for a few games. Let me make it clear I am not saying he isn't allowed to have an off day but consistency in effort is what I want to see from Gus - he does that for the remainder of the year and I'll be rapted with the kid and I will happily praise him up
Regarding Collins and I posted it on another thread yesterday I was disappointed with a few efforts of young Collins during the course of the game on Friday. I appreciate that we need outside mid fielders, however, even if you are an outside mid when it's your turn to go in and under then you have to do it for the team. A few times on Firday night he didn't, stood back off the pack and waited when we need him to go in and help his team mate and that's what I found disappointing
After watching Coburg today I would bring Taylor straight back in - he was very good today as was Rance

RICHMOND bad boy Daniel Connors is set to win an immediate recall after his eight-week club suspension, despite knee soreness that sidelined him at the weekend.
He must still prove he is over the patella tendon issue, but the club is optimistic he will prove himself for Sunday's home clash against West Coast.
The club could have a full list to choose from, with Daniel Jackson back from suspension and Nathan Foley trying to overcome achilles soreness.
Connors, 24, was nearly sacked by Richmond after a late-night incident in Sydney after the club's Round 3 loss.
He has been in hot form for VFL side Coburg and has worked at homeless shelter St Mary's House of Welcome.
Richmond head of football Craig Cameron said the club hoped Connors would be fit.
He said Connors had missed two VFL matches with soreness but had been in outstanding form.
"It's been a credit to him the way he's gone back and his attitude," Cameron said.
It Connors is available it could allow Brett Deledio to attack more.
The club has to replace retired ruckman Troy Simmonds, with Troy Simmonds [sic - should be Andrew Browne], Ben Griffiths and Tyrone Vickery all contenders.
Griffiths was a late withdrawal against St Kilda with a corked leg but will be available.s
First-choice ruckman Angus Graham has been in exceptional form, but will come up against West Coast duo Nic Naitanui and Dean Cox.

Excuse my ignorance but at what height does a player become a tall.
Kel is almost 6' 3" wouldnt that at least make him a mid if not a tall. Even though i believe he plays above his height anyway.

RICHMOND - In the Mix
The Tigers are spoilt for choice this week. Daniel Jackson is back from suspension and should come straight back in and Nathan Foley is also expected to be included. Troy Simmonds has retired, and with Graham Polak picking up 11 marks, 27 possessions and a goal, he appeals as a replacement. The Tigers want Ben Griffiths back in, so Mitch Morton could make way. Tall defender Kel Moore also looks ready to return from his leg injury.

RICHMOND coach Damien Hardwick has confirmed Daniel Connors will be rushed straight back into the line-up for Sunday's clash with West Coast at the MCG.
Connors hasn't played an AFL game since round three when he was suspended by the club for an alcohol-related incident after the Tigers' away loss to the Sydney Swans.
The 21-year-old could not train with his teammates for six weeks and hasn't been available for selection until now, however Hardwick has wasted no time in recalling him.
"He's a very good player and one that we feel has an enormous future at this footy club, so he'll come straight back in, there's no doubt about that," the Tigers coach said.
“We just hope he performs to the standard that he has been in the VFL over the last four to five weeks.”
Hardwick praised the way Connors has worked to turn his career and life around.
“He’s been terrific. Once he got over the initial shock of it all he put some measures in place, some safety nets to ensure it never happens again.
“We just hope that … for the sake of his personal life it sets him on the straight and narrow, because underneath it all he’s a terrific kid.
“He’s sought some opinions from people - (Geelong’s) Steve Johnson was obviously a notable one - but there are some other people he’s got some really good advice from.”
Richmond will make a number of other changes to the team that lost to St Kilda last Friday night.
“Big Ben Griffiths will play for us again this weekend, so hopefully he can take some of the pressure of Jack Riewoldt,” Hardwick said.
“It’s exciting for our fans to come and watch Ben basically make his debut in Melbourne this week.”
Midfielder Daniel Jackson is also certain to be recalled after serving his three-match ban for headbutting Hawthorn’s Campbell Brown.
But Nathan Foley’s ankle injury will keep him on the sidelines again.
“We just want to make sure he’s right for the second half of the year,” Hardwick said.
“We’re not prepared to push him at any stage. Obviously he’s a foundation player at our footy club so well be light and easy with Nathan this week.”
Despite the fact they only boast only one win this season, the Tigers are favourites with the bookies to beat the Eagles.
“I don’t pay too much attention to the bookmakers to be perfectly honest,” Hardwick remarked.
“From our point of view, we go into every game thinking we can win. Every coach would be exactly the same.
“We’ll go out there, play our game and hopefully come out on top.”
