At the halfway mark who would be vying for the top 3 in our B&F
Jack, Dusty, Cotch and Lids would most likely be the obvious candidates but Tuck has been a sensation since coming into the side with Edwards, Newman and Moore pushing their case despite sporadic form and fitness.
-
Right now I would say
1 Riewoldt
2 Deledio
3 Cotchin
-
Tuck and deledio ahead
Jack closing
-
I would think the top 3 would be out of
Cotchin
Deledio
Reiwoldt
With Tuck & Edwards rounding out the top 5
-
In order:
Lids
Newman(with a bullet)
JR8
space
martin
cotch
edwards

Jack then Tuck and Brett. Moore, Martin and Newman are definitely in the mix

In order;
1. Cotchin by a nose from ...
2. Tuck, closely followed by ...
3. Reiwoldt, then a gap to ...
Newman, Martin, Moore and Lids in a bunch ...
with the rest trailing off ...

Deledio
Cotchin
Newman
Riewoldt
Tuck

Jackson
and by the end of the year:
Deledio

hmm, I'm not trying to start an argument but I honestly wouldn't have cotchin in the top 5 at this stage let alone top 2 or 3.
Lids, tuck, reiwoldt, newman and martin have all been better imo. Cotch had a very slow start to this season due to a limited pre season and is only now starting to get match fitness up to a level where he can influence games. I expect him to come home like a steam train but to date, not even close

his last month has been pretty good and that has coincided with our teams improved form. I reckon that would help him

agreed cotch would have only troubled the scorerers in last mth..I should ommit him...Lids by a fair way for mine, with Newy and JR8 closing the gap...from a RFC point of view Lids hasnt played too many bad games
-
1. Lids ... our 'quarterback' who sets up attacks off HB similar to Hodge at Hawthorn
2. Jack ... for obvious reasons (leading the Coleman)
3. Newy ... even WP is giving him plenty of votes this season so he must be doing well ;D
Martin, Cotch and Tucky next in line.

I am surprised how few people are including Lids. Surely he is in our top 3 and yet some posters dont even have him in their top 6! From what i can see he is taking more contested marks, increasing his possesion count and possibly his effeciency! It's good we having this discussion though, it shows how even our playing group has been over the last 6 weeks!

Hmm, I am not sure where you come up with this because as far as I can see there is only One poster that didnt have him top three or top 6. Having one of those day hey mate?

I think you may be correct, but there were three who didnt have him in their top three, and one sneaky poster wrote his name as Brett, which of course is his real name, and this slipped under the gaurd a bit! My point though is that i think Lids has been a clear stand out all season, the others have come along only recently!

as far as importance to the team
Angus Graham / Jack Riewoldt
If Angus or Jack go down, we stop being competitive. :help
