Title: Hardwicks Revolution is in full swing!
Post by: Ramps on June 13, 2010, 04:21:03 PM
Theres improvement all over the place, in players who couldnt play to save themselves, in players who were good players and now becoming very good players and in some cases star material. The game plan is coming to fruition and when the players are on song, its a sight to behold. Lastly when we got Hardwick we got the right coach, thank god the Rawlings movement that was on in the forums to pressure the club into making a shocking decision didnt work, and the club held firm and got absolutely the best bloke for this job!

not just yet!

Griffiths has not hit form, Astbury is a forward playing in defence, Martin has not signed!

Edwards is a midfield/forward, not a backmen!

Farmer is still questionable, Tambling can not find a position, Deledio should be playing in the midfield, our defence still needs a massive key position defender.

the "Team" attitude is working!

keep going Hardwick and Richmond!

Plenty of evidence to suggest you are wrong about each of these points, plus Martin isn't out of contract so hardly see that as relevant

For the final time torch - Martin is signed for 2011 = FACT so stop saying he isn't

Ramps has hit the nail on the head in that the players "who couldn't play to save themselves" have really improved in the last month.

When you have a look at Jacks magical 10 on the weekend, what struck me was the ball was being delivered beautifully by our more maligned players.(King,Tuck,White and Edwards)......and not by Deledio or Cotchin.

Matt White was  good again....that kick to Nason (who goaled) was really clever.
Shane Tuck could probably survive an atomic blast.

You can even see Tucky really trying to follow the game plan, he's trying his best not to bomb the ball forward and looking for a better option.

The thing I've noticedis
1.Our spirit and team first mentality is a feature i havent seen in a richmond side since that 1 year in 1995.
2.Even thoug we are young, w ply harder and hit the ball & ma harder than I've ever seen us hit
3. Our setups at stoppages is a feature, dimma has backed his pre season talk about defensive positioning and making the opposition kick to areas we want them to kick. Becoming a smarter team that is strating to do the 1%ers

Tuck deserves another year.

He was sent back to perform and thats what he did. Unlike Mclovin & Mortin and co who just sulk when they were sent back to Coburg instead of trying to fix their deficiencies. stuff them

Tuck deserves and should stay on for 2011, provided his backend 11 are as good as his first half of this season.

Edwards has really come on in my opinion. King, White and Tuck are playing roles that are useful, but longer term we need upgrades on all 3.

so Griffiths is in form is he?

so Astbury was a backman at North Ballart?

Martin - see the below post.

you like Farmer?

has Tambling found a position?

you don't think Deledio should be playing in the midfield?

and we don't need another key defender?

fudge???
