Only person I'd want to bring in would be Webberley.  Not sure who for, though.

Moore will probably miss with his ankle
Tambling's shoulder may need a fitness test also

I'd make a couple

OUTS: Connors (if you aint gonna chase full tilt I don't want ya), Collins (see Connors), Tambling (needs a rest)

INS: Polo, Taylor, Gourdis (let's see what he can do  ;D)

It would be very tempting to bring back Polak after 2 BOGs in a row for Coburg.(Didn't deserve to be dropped in the first place IMO)

I just think we need another forward option as Im guessing Brisbane are going to tripple team Jack Riewoldt on the weekend.

I believe we are a very good show on Saturday night.....Micheal Voss has built a "house of cards"....or is that "house of spuds".

RICHMOND - In the Mix

Nathan Foley is likely to be given another week off to take advantage of the bye the following week to rest his ankle, and with Richard Tambling carrying a shoulder, he could be out to give it a two-week break as well. Robin Nahas, Jeromey Webberley and Dean Polo all looked terrific at Coburg and will push for a spot in the seniors. Graham Polak was again excellent in the VFL, but is unlikely to displace Ben Griffiths.

Yep it will be the biggest joke going around if they don't make the 8 this year.

It's really great to see our players go back to Coburg and actually play well and push for a game. Something this club has lacked for a long time.
We are on the right track......at last!   :gotigers

No argument here, both Conners and Collins need to develop more of the "team first" attitude, we need this young group to bond tightly and work hard for each other.
Agree on the Goo give him a run, and lets not forget he's a CHF playing Fullback, and I'd bet he's a better CHF now with all the defensive work he's done this year.

Polo in Connors out, c'mon WP are me and you always going to disagree on these two... ;D :thumbsup. Connors has only been back one week and Polo has played a couple of good games for Coburg.

Lets leave Connors in for a few more at least and give him a chance. I still think Polo will come in for Tambling though.

Polo played very well for Coburg. He was good throughout the game especially when it counted. Deserves a recall. Nahas was okay. Was impressed by Hicks. Should have been named in the best for Coburg. Thursfield looked a bit slow. Roberts was poor in the first half but played much better in the second half. Rance did a good tackle in the second quarter but plays on too often without thinking. Morton was quiet believe he should be left up in forward for Coburg. Polak was good but dropped some easy marks and would allow Ben to stay in side if not injured. Not sure about Gourdis but willing to take a risk. Post did some good things but needs more time at Coburg to pick up form

WAT read what I wrote - I've explained why I'd drop Connors (his lack of chasing and second efforts) and throw in his average disposal last week. I thought he was average at best..... but I suppose the coach loves him (and you are correct I don't) so he will stay in side no matter how bad he gets  ;D

Yeah I know what you wrote WP and unfortunately we don't get to see his non chasing on TV only his run and carry and taking the opposition on.. :thumbsup. Yes his disposal did ley him down a bit but hey first game back in the seniors for a while and if we persisted with Edwards for so long until he came good I am sure we can do the same for Connors. Edwards also let himself down with his disposal on the weekend but do we drop him...no.

Not sure what you have against hime other than his indescretion in Sydney which I also disliked, but he has payed his dues. Look if Polo comes on like Edwards has then great, but Polo should be there by now and he is not, so what is going on with him then??

Yes Polo has been going well for Coburg but he has done that before then been recalled to the seniors and done little, a bit like Polak. But everyone crucifies Polak and Polo seems to get away with a lot.

Anyway like I said he will probably come in for Tambling so lets see what he can do!!

from the RFC site....

Richmond has minimal injury concerns as it prepares to take on the Lions.

Defender Kelvin Moore is in doubt after rolling his ankle during last weekend’s big win over West Coast, while the long-awaited return of midfielder Nathan Foley, who has battled a chronic ankle problem, might be delayed again.

“The temptation with ‘Axel’ is that we’re coming into a break so the extra two weeks again would be handy for him,” Leppitsch said.

Luke McGuane is likely to match-up on Brisbane spearhead Brendan Fevola, who plays his 200th game on Saturday night.

Leppitsch, meanwhile, is preparing to coach against his former club - where he played 227 games, won three premierships and was an assistant coach for three seasons - for the first time.

“Being in the opposition coach’s box and rooms, I guess that’ll be a bit different for me,” he said.

“I had a great time up there (at Brisbane), a good 17 years, but I’m really enjoying my time here at the Tigers.”

Leppitsch admitted he has been passing on some inside knowledge to Damien Hardwick.

“I’ve sat with Vossy in a coach’s box so I pretty much know what he’s trying to do, but I guess their personnel, like ours, has changed considerably.

“Some of the players I don’t know, but a large majority I’ve been able to help Damien out with.”

Nahas needs to back up last weeks effort before he gets a game imo.
I reckon I could've kicked 4 in that game last week- the standard was atrocious

Dimma from his EOTT report is happy with DC's return at least on-field...

"Dan Connors made an impressive return to the line-up following his eight-week Club-imposed suspension.  He was very nervous pre-game, but we just reminded him that he’d played at the level before and we didn’t expect anything out of the box from him.  We just wanted him to do his job on the day, and that’s exactly what he did, which was very good to see."

Correct, this is more

Please lets not get carried away Jack - your "more" and my reasons wouldn't even be close let alone the same  ;D

And I am glad Dimma was pleased with his game because I wasn't. there was the stock standard good stuff but the "selfish" made its regular appearances too and that what I have a problem with.

Fair enough, seems we are talking about two different things then, my comments are only based on his on field performance..or at least what I see of him during games.  :thumbsup
