Anyone think Nason is a show for rising star nomination tomorrow? I can't think of any standout newbie this round.
Ben didn't have the greatest game against Brissy (13 disp., 1 goal which is his average also) but he's played every game this year and kicked 12 goals as a small forward. Bonus points for the hair lol.

He should have got it for his game against WC. He needs to get nominated but his game against Brissy was his worst since his first couple of games. Would seem a bit strange him being nominated this week. I'd take it if it happened though.

I've heard that he's too old to be eligible. I don't know if this is true or not, but it would be the only explanation why he hasn't been nominated by now, as his form certainly has warranted it. Can someone please confirm or deny?

The age qualification is a player must be under 21 years of age as at January 1.
Nason was 20 (turned 21 on June 3).

I think he'll be lucky to get one this week.
Rockliff, Sheppard would be worthy as well.

They don't normally give it to someone playing in a losing side but Rockliff got it this week. Nason's nomination can't be too far away.

Honestly; i am biased and all, Dusty aside i think Ben Nason has been the most consistent rookie and easily the most under rated! Rising stars usually get nominated from winning teams yet Bens efforts in teams that got flogged as those which won should put him in front!? After all it's how one performs in times of adversity which counts the most.
