As per thread title - Who gets the job on Pav?
-
Moore
Pav isn't that tall, but he's strong and pretty quick. Good match for Moore and he has form after taking on Goodes last week.
-
Astbury - Great learning experience for him.
-
Have to agree with Moore, should get a bit of starvation if our midfeild fire, specially with Barlow out.
If he moves up the field to get into the play chuck Jacko onto him.
-
You would have to think they will play Pav with more time in the guts and less time pure forward.
While Jackson may be the obvious choice I wouldn't be surprised if they gave the job to Tuck. Not saying I agree with it (I would prefer Jacko). Last week in the last quarter they put Tuck on Goodes late in the game and he was badly beaten considering the top job Moore had done on Goodes to that point. The stated teaching of Tuck regarding the defensive side of his game will continue big time this week.

thursty

Have to agree with Barlow going down you'd expect Freo to throw Pav into the mid-field a bit more
If goes into the middle it will be Jackson, as a forward I reckon Moore

Moore or Thirsty if goes up forward. If in the middle Jackson. If Jackson fails then Tuck. Who goes on Sandilands if he goes forward

Who goes on Sandilands if he goes forward
Kingy. Tell him to attack the ankles and bring the big pr1ck crashing down. ;D
-
Pavlich will have to play forward. He is easily their biggest goal kicker, they haven't really got another tall option besides pushing Bradley forward and they have enough problems down back to warrant a bit of attention down there.
Moore to Pavlich, easy.
-
Only one man can tame the Pav !!
THE GOO !!!!!

Kel did the job on Goodes last week.
Would think he will get Pav if he goes foward.
Looking foward to this one even though I hate going to the Docklands stadium.
:cheers

personally i would have thrown gourdis in the deep end. has all the attributes apart from experience to trouble pav. pace size leap strength.
throw moore on him pav will just take him to the square where size and strength will win out. put thursty on him and he will get the run around. astbury just to small will get pushed around like a rag doll. gourdis well like i said with a bit of help from his friends has the tools to go with him. after all its more about finding out what players can or cant do hence lookng after development.
i watched mcguane earlier in the yr get totally outclassed out muscled out ran out sprinted against this bloke. we could do no worse giving a kid a go with the attributes that are needed to combat him.
