Without a doubt, it was courageous, inspireing and a win built on pure spirit. This isn't a false dawn, this is the real Mcoy. Now lets just hope that our administration doesn't implode and do anything stupid that will undo all the ground work that has been laid and is to be laid.

It was freaking loud for a 25k crowd. Very similar to that Brisbane game in 2008. The place was going nuts.
The grog and cheer squads were still going at it 20 minutes after the siren behind the goals on the concourse. Awesome stuff :thumbsup.
If we beat North next week the 'G will be chockers for the Collingwood game. One week at a time though as the cliche goes ;).

Well! What do I say? Was resigned to the fact I would just plod along and watch the team develelop this year. Still am but enjoying it a hell of a lot more than I ever thought possible this year.

Feels a lot better than tanking lol Wins like that are what legends are made of. Riewoldt still managed to get 5 with that crowd round him and they are a top 4 side.. One thing I have noticed is these guys get a sniff of blood and they just do not stop now you can see it, they go harder in the second half once they smell they are still in it. Its like watching an animal doco I love it LOL

Pity memberships only just closed, we could have rocketed past 50k the way we're playing.

its like watching a pack of hyenas doing their thing....relentless

I just watched the second half of that game on youtube. The difference - in that that team I thought there were blokes who let themselves and the club down by putting in a gutless performance for every heroic one. Not these kids. Love em.
The only thing watching it again that I regret is that Richie Tambling hasn't kicked on. There were a few times back then that he looked like he might explode.

I wonder how much Richie has been playing through injury this year and how that has affected his form or dip in it. I heard he played with a jab in his knee last week against the Swans. It wasn't that much of a surprise to see him drop out before the game last night.
