Disgraced AFL footballer and Kangaroo’s ‘Star’ ,Wayne Carey, has defended himself against allegations he slept with team mate , Anthony Stevens’ , wife.

Wayne has come out and described the biggest news in AFL for the last 10 years as “a huge mis-understanding” He said “ what happened was , I was on my way into the kitchen to get another ‘crownie’ when my penis fell into Anthony’s missus’ love tunnel as I walked past their bedroom .

I was as shocked as anyone but then before I could explain Glen Archer was kicking my head in .”

He then went on to say “I would never do anything like that intentionally , I have always been a top bloke except for this happening every now and then … I just wish they would understand . I am Wayne Carey for God’s sake , Don’t they know that ? ”

Mr Carey was last seen pleading to a bio-mechanics expert and waving $100 notes in his face yelling “ Tell them , Tell them damn you ! ” The Sydney Swans club directors circled like vultures around Careys mansion this morning , always keen to recruit a hated Melbourne footballer they can see a dollar can be made here . Time will tell .
