Did I hear right at the start of the show tonight, Lyon and Brayshaw say that Damian Barrett will have news about Polak's future?
-
To answer my own question - yes.
* Barret interviewed Polly at Punt Rd. Polak said he copped a knock and was stunned a bit but wasn't ko-ed. He wasn't carried off either. The doctor came out; he stood up and walked for 10m then jogged off.
* Polak said he'll find out soon about his future. Barrett said Polak wants to continue on playing footy preferably with Richmond.

Delisted!

Hardly something to smile about. It's his livelihood

Writing o the wall for Polak.
Probably shouldn't have been on the list this season but certainly the goodwill made it worthwhile.

he looked pensive on that interview last night on the footy show. Felt for him, it mustve been an incredibly tough couple of years for him.

Yep, and in all fairness it gave Polak one more crack at the title. Win win but time to move on for all parties.

Herald-Sun saying Polly isn't playing today for Coburg.
RICHMOND'S Graham Polak will not line up for the club's VFL affiliate Coburg today for "precautionary'' reasons. Polak remains under a cloud after a heavy knock during last Saturday's clash against Frankston forced him from the field.

Faith in Polak
COBURG TIGERS: Richmond has maintained its faith in utility Graham Polak in the wake of a second stint on the sidelines, after he suffered concussion during a match for the Coburg Tigers two weeks ago.
Polak, who received head injuries in a tram accident two years ago, will return for Coburg today sporting a helmet after Richmond club medicos ruled him out of last week's match.
It is unclear whether Polak will remain on Richmond's list after being delisted and re-selected as a mature-age rookie at the end of last season.
He was likely to take a cautious approach into the final two games of the season for Coburg.
But Tigers development coach, and Coburg coach, David Newett said he had confidence in Polak's ability to shake off any lingering doubts about his ability to contest for the ball. "He [Graham] wants it put to bed that he's got any worries that gets any knocks to the head," Newett said.
"He doesn't go into games thinking about it. The unfortunate incident down in Werribee was just two guys going for the ball and that happens.
"He's been really good all year. He's got no worries about it and we've got no worries about it. I suppose with his history that he has to be a little bit more precautionary but he doesn't go into games fearing it.''
