Bump.
A reminder the Coburg starts at 1pm so a double header side by side today.
-
Thursty up forward kicks Coburg's first from a pass from Rance.
Cob 6
Ben 6
-
Good work again by Rance in defence running it out> 50m to Lawton who goals :gotigers
12 - 6
Coburg have a 4-5 goal breeze so they need to get a move on. Bendigo has had more of the play.
-
Intercept by Gilly who gives to Taylor who runs and goes long from 60m. Point.

Only 4 RFC guys in the top of the stats
Rance 4k 1h
Taylor 1k 3h ...... Peter German liked his breaking the game open off HB.
Polak 2k 0h
Thursty 2k 0h
I thought Contin has worked hard as well at stoppages in and under.
Stats are fairly even all up. Coburg leading 12-7 inside 50s.
-
poor kick inside defensive 50 and Thursty gets pinged.
33 - 19
Coburg a bit too cute with the short passes. Landing short.
-
Umps are being VERY generous towards us. Hopefully it'll be the same for Richmond
-
Someone needs to tell Coburg it's still wet weather footy in the mud and breeze even if it's sunny out there. No point going short if little 10m kicks and 1m handballs miss targets :P.
-
Back to just a point now and still half the quarter to go. 33 - 32 :P
-
Lucky to be so close. Lawton got that badly needed goal into the breeze
1/2 time
Coburg 5.3 6.4-40
Bendigo 2.1 7.7-49
Goals: Lawton 3, Clifton, Ambrose, Thursty
-
Rance has been going alright.
Rayson character needs to play or the coburg reserves
-
Goal off the ground by Polo
46 - 49
-
Great pack mark by Polly. But he misses from 30m out.
47 - 55
-
Coburg in trouble now as well. Bendigo kicking goals into the breeze. 48 - 68

Rance was best of the RFC guys today by far. Some encouraging signs from Contin and Taylor. Nothing much else to write home about.
-
at least you have something to write home about- things going very badly at the G.

Coburg were shocking after 1/4 time albeit in scrappy game in mud so a crap day all round.

Good to see the 3 young blokes doing well today.
-
Grimes was okay but I wouldn't have him in the bests. Needs time in the gym as do many tigers including those in the Richmond side.
One thing that stood out today was Coburg poor contesting in the air. Bendigo players outmarked us too easily too many times. The final score was a touch flattering based on general play.
-
I thought Rance was quite good. He is worth persevering with. Taylor showed some glimpses and Contin looks like he might be a player.
-
l'm glad l dont watch this rabble
