From the RFC site....
The Saints’ big guns got them home on Saturday, although Hardwick was pleased his men toughed it out.
“We could quite easily have folded,” Hardwick said.
“I think we kicked 2.7 for the last quarter. It’s just a shame we couldn’t quite get the result but St Kilda, they’re a fantastic side.
“For us to compete for as long as we did was a good effort, but [we’re] still disappointed to lose.
"Our boys are starting to understand what’s required to play at the top level.”

The Richmond coach lamented his team's inability to match St Kilda in close (119-97 contested ball, 37-28 clearances) yesterday, and in particular a lack of focus upon Montagna. ''We just couldn't stop him,'' said Hardwick.
He believes Lyon's team is not to be trifled with in September. ''They're right amongst, I reckon. People are talking about Geelong and Collingwood but the Saints are a very, very good footy club.''

Now fella's, let's not talk the Saints down. We need all the clubs who are capable of beating Scumwood up and about come September.
