I'm not sure if this has already been included...
Richmond (pick 6)
Needs: For all their poor performances on the field in the past two years, the Tigers have been kicking goals in their list management. There are no particular holes. They’ll simply go for the best players available.
Possibilities: Maybe they could consider a back-up ruckman for their first pick such as South Australian Daniel Gorringe at No.6. Hard-running, gutsy midfielder Shaun Atley, from the Murray Bushrangers, would be a decent choice at No.6. Maybe even Kieran Harper of the Eastern Ranges could go that high on the strength of one cracking game at the under-18 championships.

Gorringe is only 198cm tall IIRC. Modern ruckman unless they have a huge leap need to be 200cm+ nowdays. With Gus, Ty and BrownE I don't see us needing to use our first pick on another ruckman. Adding more ballwinning and skilled class to our midfield is more a priority for mine. I'm nervous though when I hear the Club say we need outside mids. That in the past has meant another skinny flanker rather than a genuine ballwinning mid with size who can play outside. I hope we go for the latter as I've always felt excess mids can pushed out to the flanks but excess flankers can't be pushed into the midfield. Adding pick 6 to Cotch, Martin with Lids there also is the start of a classy top tier midfield. Foley may come back into that group also if he's right and hasn't lost any of that breakout speed.

Given the trend towards a 2nd string ruckman that is shorter and can also play forward, it wouldn't surprise me if clubs see him as a potentially higher quality version of this type of player.
I think we already have that area covered though so would rather we focussed on other needs, or at least go best available.

Gorringe is the same height as Griffiths. I don't think we need another ruckman who could play forward like Vickery. I agree with MT we need another quality midfielder who has great foot skills primarily but is not afraid to be regularly at the bottom of a pack or hurting up a few of the opposition players in tackles every match.
Who fits that bill?

That's a fair argument Infamy and from that point of view that would have clubs interested in him if he can play some key tall forward role.

True. As Stripes said we already have Ty plus Griffiths. Even Postie was used as a 2nd ruck in the last few rounds.
