Next up is Farmer.....
After being swapped in a trade for Jay Schulz, Mitch played 17 games in his first year at Tigerland before injury forced him out of the final 3 rounds of the season. His best effort was 24 possies in our win over Freo in round 15.

So how did we all rate Farmer's first year at Punt Rd?

I can only really give him a 4 based on the games I saw, didn't set the world on fire IMO but did enough to keep him on for another year. Has a very good long kick on him too and showed some ducking and weaving skills during some of the games I viewed.

Very mediocre footballer that would struggle to have played games for most other sides.
Positives: Nice long kick, good attack on the ball.
Negatives: Loose defensively which for a BP is unacceptable. Poor aerially.
We must do better.
4/10

Understands the game plan. Plays the zone as well if not better than anyone else in the team (Jake's the other that really gets the zone). Covers when others in front of him get caught out in the zone. Yes, that means his man sometimes get's a cheapie but he is playing the team game. Runs teh lines in support very well.
Does get out bodied at times and does get out marked a little too easily at times.
A 6 for mine.

Your TV must have a system were it only shows you crap :lol .. i admit he dose vanish in some games but he has a great long kick and tackel .. i can see a future with this player to be honest he is still only this skills and will be a great defender in time :thumbsup
6/10 i like this kid

He strung some good games together this year. Provided some good rebound.
-
I'll give him a five and the jury's out until the end of next year
-
5 out of ten. Good spoiler and has a nice long kick. Sometimes looks abit slow. Next year is a pivotal year as to his playing future
-
Gave him a 6
His good is very good but the gap between and his worst is far to great
Just like so many onthers at our Club - that is one of Dimma's & coaches biggest challenge going forward IMO - narrowing that gap

Maybe. ;D
Still I consider a 6 exceedingly generous.
