Friends remember Malcolm Douglas as a passionate wildlife conservationist who shed tears for threatened species and was one of the last "true bushies".
Douglas, who was originally known as a crocodile hunter, was killed early on Thursday when his four-wheel drive crashed into a tree at his Wilderness Wildlife Park in Broome.
