Wants too much money and will cost us a 2nd round pick
If he was cheaper then I wouldn't mind, but at that price, no thanks

I would rather Vezspremi for cheaper

We aren't even being mentioned anymore in regards to Sherman....

Lion Justin Sherman is understood to prefer a move to the Western Bulldogs, despite being tempted by an offer from the Swans.

But if we trade up higher than our current 2nd round pick then giving up our 2nd round pick (29 or 36 or whatever it is) is a no brainer I would have thought  ;D

Not really, the talent in this draft goes deeper than 35, it is worth hanging on to

He has nominated the Dogs.

It will have to be the Harbrow pick you'd think, or a pick they receive for Kenny Everitt.

BRISBANE Lions speedster Justin Sherman has attracted interest from a number of clubs including the Western Bulldogs, Richmond, Sydney Swans and Melbourne, his manager Liam Pickering says.

But Pickering has confirmed that the 23-year-old, who has played 114 games since making his debut in 2005, wants to be traded to the Bulldogs.

If the Bulldogs can't satisfy the Lions, Sherman could be targeted by a number of other clubs.

"He's certainly caused some interest," Pickering said.

"The three clubs that have been pretty keen are Richmond, the Bulldogs and Sydney. Melbourne have also shown some interest in him.

"He's that sort of player, I guess. He's got pace and can add that to a midfield or forward line.

"But Brisbane have got be prepared to trade him. That's what it comes back to, because his contract has got another couple of years to run."

Yes.

Not Richmond though.

Out of Western and Sydney.

Sydney offering Pick 21, but Sherman wants to be in Melbourne.

Was on the Trade Radio, actually heard that.

Has met with Sydney, i think Brisbane will take Pick 21.

But Pickering said Justin really wants to be in Melbourne (Western).

We could but the Bulldogs have already offered them a pick in the late 20's so we would need to do better than that.

You guys reckon we can get a better player with our compo pick than Sherman?

It's not just the sort of player he is or the pick we would give up, I believe his terms are seen as unrealistic and too high. Sydney really stuffed this trade for us.
