I know we're coming from a low base finishing 15th with 6 wins but in time we'll needs guys who will eventually step up with something special and get us across the line in the big games and the finals. We've lacked these type of strong leaders for 3 decades.
So which Tigers do you think will eventually end up big-game/finals players?
-
l hope Big Benny Griffiths can be the long goal kicking power forward that could take us into finals footy. We also need someone like Gourdis to be a gun key position backman :thumbsup

deledio
jack
cotchin
martin
king

Cotch has big game written all over him i. Jack also, loves the spotlight and should thrive in a big game. As a smokey i reckon Mitch Morton has that game breaking ability that could well come through in the clutch. Heck hopefully all our key players will be able to perform in the clutch.

Cotch by a mile.
Then Jack.
-
I can definitely see Morton being a big game player
-
Moore and GRIGG :scream :thumbsup :gotigers

first person i thought of!
Jack looks like he would love to be on the big stage too.
-
Jack, Martin, Cotch. Hopefully Griff.
-
Jack Lids Martin Cotch Morton and hopefully Connors :pray

Mitch Morton is a leader, takes charge and doesn't die wondering will live or die by his decisions.
Jack is much the same
Dusty / Cotch / Lids and Newy are all quieter blokes who can swing a game but definately lead by example and inspire those around em.
-
Cotchy is loud as. He's always barking. Got the bite to back it up too.
-
Fair enough, He struck me as a bit quieter than Jack and Morts, you see both of them always talking.
I would even throw Kingy in there too the way he played this year, he mopped up some messes this year and really proved he has a nous for the game and has begun to back it up with performances. I await the the derision..

I agree Martin is quite but I get the feeling he's the sort of guy whose actions will speak volumes for him. In 2 or 3 years time he'll be the guy who absolutely annihilates his opponent(s) physically (legally of course) and really gets the boys psyched. All while not uttering a word but looking intense and dangerous. :thumbsup

I would love to think Taylor may become a big game player in the future. The Aboriginal Boys tend to have that electrifying/game-breaking spark during these times so hopefully (after he finds a spot int he team of course ;)) he become that type of player for us.
Cotch and Jack are consistent star regardless of the game imho

Hopefully one of our forwards
Forwards who stand up in grand finals are very rare, not many have done it in recent years in any team

Shaun Atley.

Shaun Atley.
Hopefully only if he's playing with us

Shaun Atley.
Have read on another site that perhaps Atley does not meet our selection criteria and will therefore not be selected by us. I know no further details, so it is just hearsay. Take what you like from it.
Nice to think that we actually have selection criteria now that a potential draftee can fail. ;D
