 :thumbsup :thumbsup

I gave him a 7 almost an 8

Credit where credit is due it was his best season by a length of the MCG.

Massive improvement in regard to leadership - his goal against Hawthorn in the final qtr after which he grab his jumper was a important sign to me. Needs to build on that in 2011 IMO

Missed out on an 8 because of some of his customary brand fades in a few games when he went short when he should kicked the bloody thing LONG. His kicking is his greatest strength and these "pizzy" little short kicks are not we need his long 50m+ kicks are

Well done Newy  ;D

Had the same thoughts as WP but gave him an 8 in the end because of the leadership he showed this year at key moments otherwise it would have been a 7. Still goes missing too often as shown by the 7 games he had this year with under 15 possies. No suprise they were all losses and many of them bad ones these are the games your captain needs to stand up!

For a captain it was a continuation of overall poor leadership on a consistent level.

Hand-full of good games.

6/10

Loads of room for improvement and maturing as a leader.

Is it fishing season?

I will give him an 8, love seeing him and Lids coming out of the backline with the ball

Newy had the best year of his career. Dimma has brought the best out in him.
Loved his attack on the ball this year. Really set an example.
Kicking first rate as usual but played far more forward of the ball this year than previous.
Also has grown into the leadership role nicely after a tough opening year.

8/10 for me. :thumbsup
