So that will be 5 picks given one will be kept for PSD (Houli)?

Yep TT. We'll 'pass' on pick 79 so we'll have a pick in the PSD.

How sure are you houli won't go in the National Draft?

More chance to get to the Tigers via the PSD than the ND IMHO - history tells us that is the case
I think he's been advised by his manager not to nominate for the ND and just nominate for the PSD

Exactly, you can also nominate terms in the PSD.

Which one is the priority pick from the Crows that we probably shouldn't use??

We are not using it so it's not listed WAT

In this draft it would come between our pick 6 and our pick 30. High 20s. Next year with GWS it will be a similar pick. After that it might be a bit lower, low 20s perhaps, though there will be a whole heap of GWS priority pick floating around too. Actually, given that only North used theirs this year and adding GWS picks to the mix you would think it will probably remain mid to high 20s :-\

Yep that's why you wouldn't want to use it until the next uncompromised draft

Agree, but you've got to wonder how many other teams are thinking the same. There may be 10 to 12 1st round priority picks floating around for the 2012 draft (which I think is the next uncompromised draft). When teams start to use them the less valuable picks will be pushed down the order again. If we start to finish higher up the ladder, which I think would be the plan, then this may also push our pick down the order depending on the picks held by the teams below us.
What year does our pick expire?
-
Compensation picks expire in 2014 from memory. If we had used ours this year it would've been pick 28. Cameron and FJ probably think we'll get the player we're most keen on anyway with our second pick (#30).

You can nominate terms in the ND too, ie Luke Ball
