This also goes to show Kevin Sheehan and the so called draft experts praise every kid selected at draft time.

Yes. I remember very well an interview with Kevin Sheehan on radio. When asked who from the top 10 in 1999 national draft would be most likely to win a brownlow he, without hesitation said Aaron Fiora.
The question really is;
Is it that Fiora was a potential brownlow medalist and by the fate of the draft became useless, timid, scared and soft by being drafted to a club that didn't know what development was?
Or
Is Kevin Sheehan a pathetic judge of talented youth?

I thought it was funny, seeing the smug looks on the faces of Leigh Matthews after they picked Cupido, the Pies table after they picked Roach and the Saints after they grabbed Beetham.
We weren't the only team to mess up.... but we had a chance to grab Pavlich and the others didn't.

Development has to play a part. We have had far too many potential stars to trumble through our doors only to turn to poo without the question of coaching and education having to be asked. I'm not say Fiona would have grown a pair but the sheer amount of failures over the journey would have to quiry the club culture and educators at the clubs as much, if not more, than the drafters. :help
