Title: Latham replacement
Post by: froars on January 18, 2005, 03:04:27 PM
Following Latham's resignation, any preferences for new leader.  If they try and inflict Beazley on us again, i'll scream.

I like Julia Gillard and hope they have the guts to put her in the role.  She's tough without being hard, did a good job in the election, and she's new blood.

Thoughts!

Booooooooooo !!

I like Latham - reminds me of a schoolyard bully that tries to fit in by bashing up nerds.

I'd like to see him beat up howard.

Oh well - next!

How about Bracksy - I'm sure that mumbling fool can't do worse.

Can't be Bracksy Harry - wrong parliament!

That NSW nerdy looking premier is being touted to run for federal parliment - why can't it be our fool?

Well, it's possible that Carr might qualify if he stood in Latham's seat when they had a bi-election, but i doubt Bracksy would want to leave Victoria to go to NSW to fill his seat.  Doubt that's allowed anyway.

If there's a bi-election in the meantime in Victoria if someone else quits, maybe then could Bracks stand.

What about George W? Then we could cut out the middle man.  ;D

At this moment in time anyone who takes that position would feel like a medieval food taster.
Richmond will win a premiership before Labor will win power. I'd take the odds on that at centrebet for sure.

How about Sir Joe?

Or is he dead?

ROFLFMLAOOOO! Sir Joh turned 94 just the other day and he's still very fit and virile according to Lady Flo.

Not sure if he'd be interested in politics at this stage of his career. He has to look after that court case where he's suing for 350 million for damage to his reputation and career doesn't he? LMFAOOOOOOOOOO@the damage he suffered. It's cut his life expectancy from 125 to 105.

Anyway, I don't mind who they put in, they are all stuffed but for once I'd like to see a good looking female puppet put in if that's possible. Not sure who that could be though.

Most famous Ranga since Darryl Freame lol.

Need the late Richard Charleton to ask her  "Ms. Gillard, could I ask you whether you feel a little embarrassed tonight at the blood that's on your hands?"  ;)
