6:23 AM Thu 03 Mar, 2011
Jack Riewoldt’s on-field deeds in 2010 have been rewarded with a place in Richmond’s leadership group for season 2011.
Riewoldt joins Nathan Foley, Daniel Jackson, Brett Deledio and Trent Cotchin alongside captain Chris Newman.
At 22, he is the second-youngest member of the leadership group (after Cotchin).

may only be 22 but he is our most experienced certain long term key forward. not surprising really. deledio newman are two of only 4 100 plus gamers on the list, and foley is our most experienced mid of decent quality. common sense with most of them.

Cotch was captain last night despite Axel, Jacko and Lids playing. Are we testing out who is next in line after Newy?

Astbury although not officially part of the leadership group is invited to the leadership group meetings as well as they rate his input. Not bad for a young tall in his 2nd year of AFL.
