Hats off.
First 3 selections debuting Round 1 and all getting ticks of approval and 2 getting big ticks and possibly playing 22 games this year.
Conca looks a great Pick 6 with alot of experts suggesting that he was 20-25 material. Very happy.
Batchelor looks perfect down back.
Helbig is very keen and did some OK things.
Compare that to any other draft year I think you'd find this is one of our best when you way up what number selections we had.

Batchelor looks the pick of the bunch IMO with Helbig second.
Conca has done very little to me from what ive seen in this and the Adelaide game, apart from backing back in the pack tonight which was nice.
He looks short for a midfielder.

Conca for me was ultra impressive, for a first year/debut player to take the game on like he did, just showed composure beyond his years. Not to mention running back against the flight in your first game.
I thought Helbig was great, bashed and crashed as much as possible, very clean with the ball and Batchelor will be an absolute superstar in years to come! His desperation in the backline is something I haven't seen in a Richmond player for a long time. :thumbsup
The biggest positive out of all this is that it was the first game for all these players, they will only get better and better :gotigers :bow

Conca was very promising, he was playing in a backline that was under siege and showed a lot of composure and he took them on regularly.
Could the pick #6 curse finally be broken?
