Title: What to do with Griffo
Post by: Ox on April 10, 2011, 02:21:21 PM
Strap the shoulders and play him in defence.
Give him a license to clean blokes up.
Elbows,hip and shoulders - whatever.
He's pretty much on the indefinite list so even when he cops a suspension it wont matter.
He can just get back into his rehab.
This nursing rubbish is too gay.
Workcare - best thing for injuries is getting back on the job  :scream
In his case it would be a contingency plan.

Nothing. Wait till 2012 and play him.

No band aid fixes.

From all reports his shoulders are on track.

Why risk him for short term gain though? Why have him on a Body Builders regime for the next 8 months ready for next pre season and by 2012 we have an absolute monster. I'd be feeding him 3 chickens a day.

well, is he a good footballer, an excellent footballer or what ?

ok.
Thought u meant he was physically stuffed.

From what I've seen he has good hand/eye co-ord in the air, good mits,a tall cnut and a raking kick.
Would be handy at this stage....

I suggest for future Collingwood supporters coming on an RFC forum they learn the Richmond players names if they are going to troll the site.

Pretty Simple.

Eff man, 24 hours now of waxing your own dolphin.  :clapping

I bet if I did meet you, you'd be one of those people that couldnt stop talking about how great they are.

Seriously, I don't get why the central theme to your posts are all about you and/or your opinions being validated. Why?

Should we believe that you are as awesome as you claim to be, or are the PMs correct and we should take pity on your low self esteem?  :lol

Big Ben Griffiths was at the 3121 pre-match and said he was on track to be back playing at Coburg in about 3 weeks

He is back to being able to lift weights now  :clapping

I case you missed it Jack he had a shoulder reco for crying out loud  :banghead :banghead

This may comes a massive shock but after the surgery you cannot lift weights or bench press for a considerable period after the operation, until the tendons and muscles heal and you get a full range of movement back in the joint...

He has that now, therefore he is back to the weights (has been for a time actually) and they have been building up the strength in his shoulder

this is all part of the rehab of shoulder reco

Yet you wanted us to pick Butcher who has stress fractures in his back instead of Dustin Martin

Funny how you crawl out from under your rock after a 10 goal loss.

Jack your a clever bloke, Cotchin is fit after his achilles problems and is improving.

Panicking over Griffo is wasted energy. No need for it, he's 19.

another one who dont read this forum properly
l wanted a forward not a midfielder. yes great we got a good player but l think a forward was more important.
it was never about a Martin or Butcher - Franklin or Tambling & l have never said we should have got Franklin before Tambling.
It was l wanted a forward before a midfielder & if you cant understand that then your a effin dumb prick

l wanted Roughhead for our first pick & said that & if we done that we be a better & more progressed side, we had plenty of midfielders
l would have kept Chris Hyde than have Edwards who is poo running around, at least hyde give 100% & is still giving 100% Edwards is rubbish

injuries aside and it was a risk us taking him where we did. what has this bloke ever done on the footy field to warrant all the adulation. personally i was underwhelmed with this kid as a junior not that i saw a hell of a lot.

if ever i was going to label a player a man in aa boys body at underage and thus having a limited upside griffiths was it. before his shoulder injury i have not seen what others have been on about.
still think one of bastinac or bartlett was the go and as far as talls go black or carlisle.
anyway im prepared to see what he has to offer over the next 2 or 3 seasons before i judge him just dont get the hype.

Griffiths does have alot of natraul talent & his best ability is reading the play. great hands  ;D  if he could stay on the park he would be a player any footy club would take early in a draft
