And yet if you mis-spell a word everyone picks up on it.

Can you start a sentence with "And" Julz? ;)
I remember coming home on the train one night when I was a undergrad reading a report I was typing up and some old lady sitiing next to me just turned to me out of the blue and said "there's no such thing as 'definitions' only 'definition'" :help.
Btw if you want some more useless trivia, there's 8 different ways in English to pronounce "ough".

I have to say I didn't notice too many spelling mistakes in HarryH's initial post. ;D
That's probably because he got the main words right: e.g the, and, can, you, it, at, are, and the most important one "a" - mis-spell those and I am stufefd ;)

:rollin And what’s wrong with starting a sentence with and? And even ending it with and? ;D I do all the time. :P And too bad if it’s not good English. And if that lady on the train wanted to query it, I’d just go And … :rollin
