In: Thursfield, Miller
Out: Connors, Morton

The Gloveman is back. Morts needs to pull his finger out
-
personally, I'm at least feeling some comfort in the fact that Thursfield is back. he's not great, but at least he is a tall defender who can do an OK job. Dawes and Cloke will still prove to be very tough to handle, but at least young Grimes has some tall support this time.

Watch Cameron Wood destroy our Gus.
Wood is a wacko too.
Shame about Mitch, seemed to have a great pre season and finished last year amazingly well.
Hope he plays on the wing in the 2's

Miller ::)

Miller will be good
Well that tells me in a strange sort of way that we are going in to give it go as opposed to last year when we played Geelong and it appeared at the selection table at least we had conceded the game beofre we headed down the highway
Bringing in 2 taller players, one being a bigger body player is what we needed
One thing about Miller he can play up forward or down back and I reckon he can pinch hit in the ruck as well

jackstar fos apparently

Hopefully with Vickery, Miller and Jac forward Nick Maxwell will be made accountable for once.
-
Interesting that we dropped two relatively mature players while keeping our new recruits in the team. These changes are either directly for matchup purposes or for the two players unfufilling their role/following team rules adequately. I'm inclined to believe the initial reason first though it does tell Morton and Connors that they are expendable in the team currently and need to pick up their games significantly.

Shame about Morton. I know he didn't play well against the Hawks but I would have droppoed others before him. Hope he gets back into side soon. Great news Jolly out. No excuses for Gus he is expected to beat Woods in the ruck. Good to see Will in side his ability to spoil will hurt Dawes or Cloke. Dawes very overrated player.
