will be interesting to see how many they get next Sunday Night being Easter Sunday.
Just been online to book reserve seats, seems sales of seats very slow.
-
jack we havent exactly been setting the world on fire,,i mean 2 big loses wont help get bums on seats
-
if it wasn't easter time i wouldnt bother...Im fairly keen to go, if my reg partners pull out I might be a couch potato though...50/50
-
If I can drag my fat, sedentary a r s e away from easter binge lunch at the inlaws, I'll be there.
I have reorganised easter sunday to now easter saturday so I can go the footy, lol
-

we.ve got over 40k members, we should be packing out docklands each and every time we play there.
-
especially when we are a good chance to win
-
I purchased reserve seats for it last night
I was generally surprised that seats were available for just aobut the entire ground
I don't think there will be a big crowd, we've had 2 poor losses and N0rt Melb are well N0rt Melb the club with very few supporters
I reckon the crowd will be mainly made up of Tiger fans ;D
-
where you sitting?
logged on last night as well. L1 bay 41 was for sale
seems only 1 row sold today, havent purchased yet, want to sit on fence
-
Ground Level (L1) aisle 40 something I hav eprinted the tickets yet ;D

Up to Bay 42 now, will go to outlet in morning, kids want front row, LOL

Do you go to the interstate games Mad?
-
Nah. But I want to soon. That's the only time I'll watch it on tv when I'd have to travel 1000km's or more :D
But i try to go to every game in melbourne every year. Every tiger supporter in melbourne should leave their Easter parties at a respectable time of 3:30 and be there at Etihad otherwise their hearts aren't fully in it 8)
-
I will be there on Sunday...surely we have to be show
After much "umming & arghing" and at times being peeved with the Club this year (and I aint talking about results :rollin )
I have booked flights for all interstate games bar Cairns
Would recommend to anyone who's ever thought about going to an interstate game and can afford to do so, to actually bite the bullet and do it because they are good fun; especially when we win ;D
there's something unique about all the venues, whether it be having general fears for your own safety (read Freo or Port Adel), wanting to see to how people in non-AFL states actually follow the game live (read Syd & Bris going crazy when they score a point) or going to a game with incredibly knowledgeable but feral supporters (read WCE & Adel) interstate games have something for everyone :rollin
-
Im 90% chance to go now :thumbsup
-
WP, surely you jest when you say WCE crowd is knowlegable ?
-
Totally agree WP but it can be a lonely place when we lose (i.e Sydney at at SCG most games)
Ill never forget the game against Brisbane in 05 when we snatched it by 4 points. The best interstate game ive ever been to.
I was hugging people i didnt know by the end and my mrs was trying to control me after the siren..hahaha
No go for the Cairns game baby due 2 weeks after, but the compromise is we are all booked in for the Darwin game.
Great place to visit Darwin, looking forward to it

No serious being in an AFL state the crowds no a fair bit more about footy than QLD
Ever been to the Gabba? ;D

Aint that the truth daniel - Sydney last year was the absolute pits
It was fantastic in Adel last year after we beat Port
We were out for dinner and people just kept comng up to our table thanking us for making their weekend by simply beating the Power :thumbsup
-
Good luck with bubs in July Daniel. God Bless. :thumbsup
I'm going early lunch at my folks visit in laws for abit and on the train to Etihad and and back in time to pick clean the lamb carcass rotating on the spit at the in laws and for some chocolate ripple and hopefully a few bourbons to celebrate the win. Easter Greek style. :thumbsup
-
I hear both man and dog will be turning up for North so all their supporter base will be going ;D
-
Unless the dog is a guide dog to assist the blind then the two men might be the only ones. The dog to stay at home and have the leftover meat from Easter lunch.
Just as side note notice the goals and bays their cheer squad will be behind and then look at the two or three totally empty bays and then look at the goals where our fans will be and the surrounding two or three bays.
I hate losing to our traditional rivals in Carlton Collingwood and Essendon and fume when it does happen regardless of situation and circumstance but I am even more filthy when we lose to this characterless fanless cashless useless homeless pathetic gypsy footy club to make them feel good about themselves for 5 minutes for beating a Big four Victorian Club until they get flogged by 10 goals the following week.
WIn at all costs Tigers we are better than them both on and off the field. Next week no excuses! :thumbsup
-
I will be there and have convinced the family of a winter trip to Cairns in the middle of July. Oh what you say? There's a game of football up there at that time.
-
Will be there if I'm back from Dad's birthday lunch in whoop whoop.
-
