Greg Denham mentioned this this morning on KB's show. The PA system at the 'G hardly audible this year. If you're on level 1 you can't hear the siren nor hardly hear our theme song to sing it :-\. Anyone else here noticed this where they sit at the 'G?
-
think they just need to turn the volume up. I might have to break into the pa room and play a bit of 70s prog pre game 8)

PA and lights are stuffed ;)
MCC dont like spending $$$$$$$$

At least you can't hear the betting spouted between quarters.
They should just pipe it to where the TAB is so people who go to the footy to stand there and punt instead of watching the game can get the benefit of odds and the majority who couldn't give a toss can be spared the mundane crap.

Yep, I've noticed it as well. Could barely hear the siren a couple of times at both the Brisbane and Freo games (we sit Level 1 Olympic Stand). Struggled to hear the song as well, doesn't help when everyone around you is :clapping along out of time with the music :lol

one day you may need them to rescue you from the shower
-
Loved it when the crowd started the song before the game had finished, last time i'd heard that was when we got thrashed by geelong in 95 finals. The crowd around me didnt need to hear it after the game either, we had our own going :gotigers
